I rolled my eyes so far back they almost got stuck.
You're overestimating my interest in what happened to that guy. He was the original goldenbear hockey. Smug and obnoxious.I’ve got a story……but I can’t tell it. So you’ll have to wonder.
Its not debatable at all on the Kings roster. Who would be worse? Looking at the Reign there are probably better options there even.
Cant think of a single player or winger lines around the league that would be worse. Zero pp time for QB also. Hes gettin the shaft but at least he doesnt have pressure to be the guy yet.
Stutzle is one of the most exciting players to watch already. I wish the Kings had someone who gets the fans excited. So boring.
What about Turcotte + 1st for Hertl? I'd be willing to give that up for Hertl. What do you guys think? I don't know. I've been drinking. Excuse me.
Player Development Coach, SkatingJust give brown a front off ice job and a fancy title.

Would you trade that package + for TJ Miller? No thank you because 1) needs an extension 2) he plays a position we are deep at

I don't think he'll want that much. He's only getting 5.6 right now. And at 28, a big contract just isn't justified. He'd be a good look at 2c though with PD bumping down to third. I don't know if LA can wait for Turcotte to make the big club, so this would be a nice alternative. And again, Hertl's production just doesn't justify a big contract. He could probably get around 6.5 in LA.The same guy who will 29 next season, and probably be looking for a longterm, say 8 mil plus deal as a UFA? Dean Lombardi rental price right there .
Where do you see they have interest in signing him for next season?Blake has said Brown and the team have mutual interest in him staying. Propects will probably be used in trades to make more room for up coming drafts and trade pieces for a LHD.

Hertl isn't a fan of Brown. It would be one or the other.I think Hertl will get $8M a year somewhere.
Especially considering it'd likely only be a 1 year deal. Trading away someone who could be on the team for a few years at least for one more year of Brown.Where do you see they have interest in signing him for next season?
That would be a weird strategy. Be really bad and tank for top picks with Brown on the team.
Develop those picks and trade them right when they are ready without ever giving them a chance because Dustin Brown is on the team and they need to go all in and also get more draft picks

Even though he isn't a part of the current success, I still hope to keep Lias Andersson and find him a role somewhere whether top six or bottom six. Even though we didn't draft him, I still consider him one of the young players I hope grows into a Kings w/logo butt tattoo along with guys like Byfield, Kaliyev, Turcotte, Durzi, Bjornfot, etc.
I hope once he gets fully comfortable being a King, he can be an overall good player but develops a bit of a competitive edge to him...one of those, you better not F with us but I'm definitely going to F with you, especially during the playoffs kind of player.
depends on termI'm a Hertl fan, but not at that number. I see him more as a $6-7M player.
It's crazy to think how much prospect depth this team has. Remember when we were all freaking out about losing Clague? Not so much any more. I just hope that Blake and Co. have an asset plan in place and don't misjudge any talent. So far, Blake has exceeded my expectations.
