Blake acquired him during the rebuild years when he traded off most of the vets. The issue is whether the actions taken during the rebuild have panned out. Then why include Moore?

Look at Minnesota, how they handle Matt Boldy...he has 3 PP goals and 10 PP points - in only 43 games. 10 PP points would be 5th on the Kings. (if he had 77 games, would project to 18 pts and 3rd on the Kings and over 300% more than Iafallo's 5 PP pts) If Boldy even got to make the Kings, he would be line 4 and probably have 0 PP minutes. So you can't say "playoff teams cannot give rookies prime PP minutes" Or, he's not one of the best 5 or 6 forwards. I'm sure Minny has 5 or 6 more seasoned, excellent forwards than Boldy. On the Wild, look for him to be scoring 25 goals and 50 pts next year. On the Kings this year, he would probably have 9 pts and on the verge of being scratched a few games or sent back to the AHL...and certainly not on a path to a possible 50 pt player by next year.2nd boldfaced ties in: you and I have very different definitions of 'opportunity.' I'd like to see my offensive 2nd overall draft pick center at least SNIFF the powerplay, or if he's not going to replace the top Cs, get on a line where he can get high ice time and puck touches and not just have to go out for a checking shift every 5th shift at best. How long did it take Iafallo to flunk off the top line to get replaced by kaliyev--and then how quickly did they bonk Kaliyev back down? Why not take that as an opportunity?
So you honestly believe that if Turcotte was on Minnesota he'd be producing Boldy type numbers? The same could be said for Caufield's 13 pp pts, 1/3 of his 39 pts. Players like Dawson Mercer get PP time and are producing. Beniers has 2 PP goals in 5 games on the Kraken.
Do you think Mercer's Boldy's, Caufield's confidence and progression in making an impact, producing, help their development? Of course. The more success you have, the greater chance to succeed overall comes.
After seeing QB take over, his last shift - circling the zone about 3 times - and was not stopped - 5 on 5, no less....shows his potential in what he's capable of. Sure, may have only resulted in 1 shot or 1 scoring chance, but if he can do that 5 on 5, he can certainly do that 5 on 4 AND, with the most talented players on the ice with him. He has good vision and offensive instincts. He did have that spin around shot from about 10 feet out and was close to scoring. He's shown he can shoot pucks past NHL goalies. Why not give him some PP time? It's not like he's going to flat out fail. No way. Iafallo has mostly failed there 77 games. The PP needs movement as well.
I never mentioned Turcotte. But I think he would have been playing on the Wild by now and producing and having success. Do you think Boldy would have a meaningful role on the Kings, with PP minutes and 37 pts in 43 games? Or, would he be in the AHL or playing line 4 and not making any kind of impact? So you honestly believe that if Turcotte was on Minnesota he'd be producing Boldy type numbers? Right...
I think Boldy would be starring on any team in the NHL. As would Stutzle, Zegras, Raymond, or Seider. The Kings aren't holding their youth back...the youth just isn't good enough yet.I never mentioned Turcotte. I've never seen a team try so hard to keep talent out of the lineup and yet have positive results. Hockey is weird...I never mentioned Turcotte. Well, at least you’re comfortable admitting it.I don't think I will ever understand this concept of winning less games equates to making more progress. I guess I'm just slow...

That's not what was said at all but pretty on-brand for you to deliberately misinterpret.
If Turcotte were in Minnesota, they were desperate for Cs, so if healthy, he'd at least have been in the NHL all year this year if not last year too, not in Iowa not getting PP time.
Whatever happens in round one, if I see Quick fight Smith, I’ll be happy for life.
Quick is not a fighter. Best goalie in franchise history without a doubt, but he is not a tough guy at all. He won’t fight.Whatever happens in round one, if I see Quick fight Smith, I’ll be happy for life.

Edit: here's another good one:
Sure no probSo what you’ve shown me here is Quick punching helpless guys in scrums, and refusing to fight Eddie Lack who directly challenged him.
I wasn’t asking for help, but thanks for proving my point that Quick won’t fight and isn’t tough without his teammates around. I appreciate it.
Then explain why Marco Rossi isn't there
I guess you (deliberately) missed the part where he had a cardiac condition that threatened his career, followed by covid, followed by his delayed comeback and debut before another injury, and now they have him in the 1C and full PP time role shredding the AHL since its' too late in the season so in his absence the top six centers are handled and he's not a bottom sixer--unlike the Kings who would probably try him out at 4C then get mad he wasn't checking well enough before sending him down to the middle six in the AHL and giving him no playing time.
That's not at all the gotcha you think it is, especially since as always you either deliberately missed the point or dishonestly digressed to a point you thought was really 'it'. Great job finding an injury exception to the rule though. Enjoy talking to an empty room.
