TOP 50 NHL SCORERS.
Look through the ENTIRE first page...you will find some teams have 3 on the list...0 KINGS on the list.
This is sad. sick. unacceptable. and must be addressed as the #1 problem.
It's a problem, when your #1 scorer is 51st in the NHL and he's 34 years old. It's a problem, when Kevin Fiala, Jesper Bratt, Jordan Kyrou and Morgan Reilly??? has more points than your top scorer.

Top game score tonight for the Kings Vilardi. Bottom game score tonight Durzi.

1 goal in 27 games. that is 1/3 of the season. there are 96 top line 1 players in the NHL. who is 96th best? and why does he play 22 minutes a game and on PP1?

Let it be known.
The Kings 4 best under 20 year old players....3 of them were born the same week? Is that insane?

Quinton Byfield born August 19, 2002 (age 19 years)
Martin Chromiak born August 20, 2002 (age 19 years)
Brock Faber born August 22, 2002 (age 19 years)
and 6 months later to be born:
Brandt Clarke born February 9, 2003 (age 19 years)

Yeah, the biggest issue with Bjornfot's game is having to play with Durzi. Nobody could succeed with a partner who is in the wrong places at the wrong times the vast majority of the time. Durzi is a total disaster unless he is actively moving forward and there is no way to predict where he is going or what he is thinking and even the most polished of veterans would struggle in that kind of partnership.

Durzi reminds me of Montour when he was with the Ducks. They could never get him to play a structured game and none of the other D really wanted to play with him. Looks like Montour has matured in Florida but it took several years for him to get where he is. Same is likely to be true of Durzi...if the Kings are willing to wait.

Where have you been? TMc has a "different" definition of production or so he says. I'm sure the definition also shows that the PP1 unit is effective.

I still don't understand why the kids aren't playing top line minutes in the AHL. They are being wasted in their current roles in LA. Time to quit trying to turn our best prospects into grinders...

I thought Vilardi was one of the better forwards last night.
I would rathe AA be in the minors than Kupari or Vilardi. I am not sold that QB would not be best suited playing big minutes in the AHL.

Vilardi looked super dangerous. We really need to pair him with Kempe, give Vilardi a guy who can finish and see what happens.
I have really not been impressed with Arvidsson's overall game. he goes down way to often and easy for me.
That said he is the most shoot first forward we have, and is constantly in the right position to get the puck, I would pair Vilardi with him.

Anyone else notice Vilardi attempting a lot of wrap arounds.

He's looking like a poor mans Alexander Frolov.

You all laughed at me when I said he was Randy Jones.

Dude, that is where they are being turned into grinders. They don't promote anybody until they are ready to play safe hockey. The kids don't even get top offensive spots in Ontario.

The best case scenario has always been to put the offensive players directly into the NHL in situations where they can learn to adapt their best skills to this level then add defense and consistency with experience.

Yes, that means no playoff chase, but that kinda goes with the whole rebuild thing. Management here wants to wait and wait until kids can step in and contribute to the fancy stats instead of working on what made them so attractive to draft in the first place.

Moore transcends, as he does not model his game after the Kopis, Browns and AI's, but probably Patrick Kane and Kucherov. He will thus execute and bury pucks. Never celebrates. His face shows that he's all business and expects more from himself. Always pushing himself. Going to the net with power whenever he can. Unlike other Kings.

It's time for the 4 +1 'Doughty, Kopi, Brown and Quick' and the 'no business A' on AI, to be supplanted with a new leadership group: Danault, Moore, Roy.
