I thought LA myself. If you’re going to fly international to watch the Kings in person, you might want to ask your brother to move to Arizona to make sure it’s worth it.

Not sure if this is how they'll go but I'd like to see Lias get some different looks like this down the stretch. He's been out so long and it's not clear to me that they know yet what they have (or don't have) in this player. Slotting in a few different configurations would be useful. My guess for tonight:
Iafallo - Kopitar - Kempe
Moore - Danault - Arvidsson
Vilardi - Byfield - Kupari
Andersson - Lizotte - Kaliyev

Even if Jesus Christ suits up in net, I find it very difficult to see us getting by the AVS in a series. Possible...Yes. Probable, not so much.Just thinking out loud, the team is much improved this season and on track for a playoff berth. I think most of us give us a chance at winning a round but no expectations beyond that.
What if 2012 quick turns up for the playoffs? Just something to think about because if you added . 940 goal tending to this team they could make a lasting impact.
Half the posters on this board think Todd McLellan’s only job is to draw up line combinations for 8 hours a day. Or Rob Blake’s only job is to work the phones with other GMs all day. Their jobs can’t possibly be that hard, right? The truth is they’re watching video, drawing up drills for practice, checking with trainers, massaging egos, tracking the salary cap situation for all 32 teams.I think as fans, we sometimes are under the perception that managing a team is more simple than it might seem. Brown not playing well, easy...bench him, trade him. Kaliyev is scoring goals...why isn't he automatically moved to the top line? These are easy decisions, right? They aren't.....if any of you have ever managed people as part of your job, you know what I'm talking about. Every move could potentially impact the other individuals or parts of your team and it's imperative that you think that through. Culture, energy, attitude...all things you are trying to build. Benching a guy because he hasn't scored a goal in order to 'send a message' could potentially send the WRONG message.
No one thinks that. Why would you say that like its some kind of burn? Why do you think you know more than everyone else? If you dont like what people on here say then why do you join in? We are just here to talk about the Kings and the on ice product we get to watch.Half the posters on this board think Todd McLellan’s only job is to draw up line combinations for 8 hours a day. You've sold me, Playoffs are all about riding a hot goaltender. Jesus christ lives up in the clouds, 2012 Quick was living on the sun he was that hot.2012 Quick > Jesus Christ, change my mind
2012 Quick > Jesus Christ, change my mind

You have convinced me. 2012 Quick…we have a shot.I said that at the beginning of the GDT the other night, this team is 2nd in the division WITH godawful special teams, dysfunctional 1st and 3rd lines, sub .900 goaltending and absolute SHIT shooting luck even considering talent...if even ONE of those things breaks good we're a f***ing juggernaut. Then the other night, all of them clicked and look what happened.
Frankly there aren't a lot of ways we can get worse (please forgive me hockey gods), the hockey world should be praying we don't correct any of the above.
2012 Quick > Jesus Christ, change my mind
That wasn't a wrap around? He also regularly got beat by rebounds off the back boards. Detroit did it to him all the time.2012 or 2014 Quick never got beat on wrap-arounds. 2022 JQ will never have that explosion and recovery speed again. Hell both of our goaltenders have been beaten on wrap-arounds this season multiple times.
Any updates on Bjornfot injury?
If Bjornfot and Lemieux are back, seems like Moverare and Grundstrom are the Swedes to be scratched. Likely it’s Moverare who is sent down.
You’re probably right, I remember hearing that as well. And I think the roster limits are lifted. If I'm not mistaken, Moverare can't play for the Reign anymore, right? I think someone said that?
Regardless, getting Lemieux back is big. Let's play Iafallo on the fourth line and see if the energy role gets him going.
Kempe - Kopitar - Kaliyev
Moore - Danault - Arvidsson
Kupari - Byfield - Vilardi
Lemieux - Lizotte - Iafallo
That is incorrect. Moverare and Strand are on the Kings roster the rest of the season. They are ineligible to play in the AHL during the regular season or playoffs since they were not on the Reign roster at the NHL trade deadline. That's the rules. The only D that can be sent down the rest of the way is Spence.I think he can't play in the playoffs but could play regular season games in Ontario.
