The One & Only
I think Kopitar could be a 100 point scorer in this league if he wanted to, he's that talented.
Yea. He's just never felt like it for the past 15 seasons.

The cap hit is 7% of the total current cap and people still complain?
Indeed my friend. We are also gaining an additional 27,294,588 of cap space next season. The cap hit is 7% of the total current cap and people still complain?
Which will most likely be less than 7% over the next six years...
You only win on this website if you get below market value and short term. Kings paid market value and are getting reamed.
The cap will go up, but don't call it ShirleyIts a big win for a team with tons of cap space opening next year and a cap that will surely go up. Term means nothing as there are way to buy out and or trade to Arizona. GM's are way more creative than credit is given for as you see in Tampa and all the places that can't seemingly afford Player X, but somehow find a way.
So, its a NMC for the first three years, then a NTC for the last three - as per Eric Engels
Just brutal if true. The Kings needed goals more than any other one thing. I doubt we get more than 75 goals out of Kopitar, Danault, RV, Doughty and Brown combined next year and end up paying $35+M against the cap for that.
Then the trick is for them to never score. We will have to dig a WW1 style trench at the blue line and install a Ring® Doorbell on the goalposts.Just brutal if true. He is the bait, like a tuna with sharks in the water.I like this guy. He’s not taking the bait.

If they can't score. We can't lose.

as bad as that sounds, sign me up.I think Coach Todd is going to get us to the playoffs with the first ever 0-0-5 system. Kopitar and Danault take the top two selke votes and score 25 goals between the two. And proceed to lose in the fist round in four straight, with 3 shutouts.
That is one crooked friggin nose! That would make even Ryan Smyth and Ian Laperriere blush.
Not sure what Blake was thinking adding a well-liked personality to the locker room.

I think he has a French poodle named Habs13.Everyone seems to be overlooking the most important question. Does he have a dog?
Maybe.
A metric that is way easier is to say more goals scored is more goals won.
The Kings had 142 goals, but 169 against. By comparison, a team that made the playoffs the NYI had 152 goals but 125 goals against.
I think The Kings are addressing the plus goals with VA and the maturity of certain players and addressing the against with PD.
Only time will tell. We will see come regular season but I dig the moves.

There's reasonable risk, and unreasonable risk.

I like Danault, but he will most likely end up like one of the above. I hope I'm wrong.[TBODY] [/TBODY]
