team executives across the league are looking at the Tocchet effect on talented players with Michkov being the 3rd one now, and after watching Pettsson be the 2nd player to have his offensive game tank under Tocchet, are likely expecting the same thing to happen with Pettersson that happened with Keller, that's why so many teams are trying to lowball Vancouver right now, dude is going to bounce back the same way Keller did and they know it, unless Vancouver is confident that they are getting exactly what they want for him they should not trade Pettersson right now, unless he is physically cooked and can't meet up to his old standards but i don't really see any evidence of that, there is no way he doesn't have a better season next year
27 years old with 6 years left on his contract, trading him simply for the sake of trading him is just dumb
i agree we should look at trading him in the future, but this summer is not the time
