What are people's thoughts on Schneider again after tonight?

Not sure if this is a rhetorical question or not but he belongs already. Skating, Physical and pretty smart from what I see.
No real NY Ranger fan could ever want to part with a guy like this in a trade. What if Trouba went down for a month with an injury?

I remember arguing with people this summer who were trying to just dump him in trades because they thought Nils was going to be the more unique player, and nothing against Nils but Schneider literally does everything that you want from an NHL defenseman. The way he's coming in and the way he's playing is just like McDonough when he stepped in here. He didn't need to be babied or sheltered he was just sent out there to play and he ran with it. Schneider's not going anywhere.

He doesn't look out of place or nervous. Makes the smart, simple play. Very composed for a guy playing his 3rd game.

It's part of the problem as well.... with puck movement.

It's an issue that needs to be solved and the more I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised to be in on Chychrun

Let me say this and some won’t like it. But a game like tonihjt is why Shesterkin imo will win a Cup eventually where Hank didn’t.

if Hank had a first period like Igor did tonihjt he’d never recover or he’d be pulled. He just such an emotional player. Igor just has ice in his veins. He just went into that second period cool as a cucumber and shut it down. Awful first period for him but he has the ability to stop the bleeding and reset in a big spot.

again I’m going to say something people aren’t going to like. If he can stay healthy he’ll go down as the better goalie of the two.

I think this was spot on early on in Hank's career. Hank would go 10 games allowing 2 or fewer goals and being unbeatable and then he'd have a period like he did today and then would just self destruct in a game. I think he got better though as his career went on.

Another fine performance from Schneider….he looks very confident out there. Should never be talked about in any trade proposal

He looks like a 2-year vet. He’s such a critical piece going for fwd.
Strome was good tonight.
McKegg was over all as well. I still hate him, but he was effective.

I’m pretty sure that’s not gone unnoticed. We’d be better off with Jones, even Hajek tbh but the more likely scenario is a cheap vet coming in.
