What's also awesome to today's (inevitable) reality is that of course we haven't extended Rielly yet, as TB did with Point, because of course Dubas is going to wait all year so we can spend next June freakin' out as he potentially walks for nothing.

What a mess this team has become since Marner signed.

In the last 4 years, we were outscored 18-6 in deciding games.

In the last 3 years, we were outscored 11-2 in deciding games.

And you say the team is "as good as you thought".

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Every championship team has a bunch of seasons prior with tons of stats that support how braindead their GM clearly was.

this guys out to lunch

I don't disagree with him that Kerfoot could be a good enough LWer to play on one of the top two lines. But who are you sliding into the very important #3 C spot if that's the case? Kampf? Our 3rd line would have virtually no offensive ability if that's the case. And Bunting? Yea, I like the signing, but if you're penciling him onto one of your top two lines, that's a problem.

Remember when Babcock was obviously past his expiry date as coach and the leafs kept him for half the season? Feels like that with Dubas right now.

He should've been let go after Columbus as the team failed to make the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Him staying after this Montreal debacle is a slap in the face to fans of this team. They need a new gm and to objectively assess the core of this team.

Who would have thought half the cap on 4 forwards would lead to arguably league worst depth?

Probably Pierre Engvall. The Leafs bottom-6 is going to be utter shit if they don't make any moves.
