This could be a big deal, though. He left the ice limping apparently. Maybe we should make a new thread for him. Is he for sure to start on Thursday? Call me a worry wart, but without our third line (actual first line) intact, we could suck.

So...it's been what, a month now or so? Not even a time table to come back. Any actualy chance he can come back by round 2?
He's still not holding a stick normally with his left hand when he skates, right? I don't think we'll see him until next year. Hope I'm wrong.

If/when he comes back, Dorsett sits I would think. Carcillo has earned it.
They've both earned it. Dorsett is more prone to take stupid penalties. Carcillo is more prone to coast when he's playing well, thus making him ineffective.
In all fairness, Dorsett's penalty last night should not have been a penalty. Although neither should Carcillo's. Both are playing well.
Not basing it off of last night. In general, from what I've seen this year, Dorsett takes stupider penalties. Carcillo tip toes with invisibility after a string of 4-5 good games. I wouldn't mind either of them in it, to be honest.
One of them will sit - thats just the reality of the situation

We're simply going to need him to go deep in the post-season.
IF everyone stays healthy when Kreider returns it would be interesting to see of AV puts him back with Stepan-Nash (Nash goes back to his natural wing) and MSL moves back with Richards-Hagelin, or he keeps Stepan line as is and Kreider slides in with Richards. The wing speed of this line against other teams lower lines could be very advantagious.
Against the Flyers anyway Carcillo seems an extremely motivated player--as in he doesn't seem to like his former team or even maybe some of his former teammates. That's great as long as he doesn't get stupid about it. IMO the penalties handed out to him last night by the refs were the two goofiest by the on ice officials all night. Voracek should have definitely been given more than Hagelin--he was the one that started the whole thing--he dropped his gloves at least a couple seconds before Haglein. He's the only one that threw any real punches and he threw several. The other call against Carcillo was just horse ****.
