Not a chance if they are ready they play. Anything less I'd consider Dumb.
We are all about winning games NOW. That will continue up and until we are realistically toasted.
Our top guys will want to see our best players in the line up.
I really hope Slaf is good to go tonight. I think he has that competitive edge were he wants to show everyone he was/is the right player picked as first overall over Shane Wright.

Do players ever really go from a non contact jersey straight into a lineup?

Anyways, 3rd game in 4 nights for montreal. It's going to be tough sledding for the guys.

Home game against a team on a similar level. Must win if they want to stay in the mix.

The current 6 games stretch that started on Saturday might be the easiest of the season. Going 5-1 or 4-1-1 would be awesome

It's at home but it's a 3rd game in 4 nights with 2 travels in there, not ideal.
We'll also see if Guhle and Slaf are still out.....

But putting a streak of W is exactly what the doctor order.

This is exactly what needs to happen for this team to start taking that next step. We have to start stringing some wins together.
Maybe not to the extent we've strung losses together in the past but enough to get us over those 4 game losing skids.
Seattle is a team we've handled fairly easily in that last two seasons just an 0-4 game here at the Bell Center that sucked rocks.
Indeed, the Habs need to be able to string 3 wins in a row more constantly, if they want to show progression. They had one 3 wins in a row last season.

Yes Sir winning breeds more winning there is absolutely no doubt about it.
We just have to look at what the Flyers did for much of last season despite being an ass team.

I thought it was reported here (and what's reported here can't be wrong) a week ago that Slaf was about 2 weeks away. So if we're lucky perhaps he plays Sat game at the earliest.

Let's see him in a contact jersey first.

Can anyone explain to me why Marty thinks Newhook-Armia is a great combination?

It's been the worst duo on the team and they've not played a game apart.

Because Roy Newhook Armia was performing reasonably well (for Habs standards) at the end of last season if I recall correctly.
