I'd much rather see Kapanen kept with Newhook and Slafkovsky, with Armia shuffling down to the 4th line
I can understand starting the season with that duo because they finished last season pretty strong together. But they are brutal together so far this year now after several games played, so Armia needs to be shuffled off the 2nd line now imo.Can anyone explain to me why Marty thinks Newhook-Armia is a great combination?
It's been the worst duo on the team and they've not played a game apart.
Thumb playing Playstation.

Because Roy Newhook Armia was performing reasonably well (for Habs standards) at the end of last season if I recall correctly.

Yeah a small stretch last year that hasn't even remotely carried over.
Armia isn't a 2nd liner.. so any machinations that he would keep up that level of play were ill conceived.
Soudns to me like Arbs and Mallioux will soon sit.
Kenzie never lies.
Slaf is back and they’re leaving Dach on the 1st line? Interesting.
She is easy to likeKenzie never lies.
I expect Mailloux to be sent back when they are healthySoudns to me like Arbs and Mallioux will soon sit.

They need to find a regular spot for Struble...he will only get betterMailloux first out, then Struble or Xhekaj let s see.
Do we have news on Slaf? It’s been a week since they said he was out
Problem is that MSL tries to desperately find regular spot for Barron, while his regular spot is in Laval. They need to find a regular spot for Struble...he will only get better
Many here say he has improved which may be true but the little that I have watched I wasn't blown away by his so called improvement. The problem with Barron is that he is simply too soft. I hope he pans out.Problem is that MSL tries to desperately find regular spot for Barron, while his regular spot is in Laval.
Well at least he is walking without crutches and seems to be walking normallySeems like all the stars are lining up.
What about Laine? Is he at the practice with a regular jersey also?
Newhook... man, we so desperately need another high caliber center. Still.Yes, he did a scrum interview and said he's 100%. No pain or anything.
It looks like lines will be:
Caufield-Suzuki-Dach
Armia-Newhook-Slafkovsky
Anderson-Evans-Gallagher

He is just bad. Sorry... that was a terrible trade from all angles.
I felt he seemed much more assertive this year, less hesitation, even being the aggressor on plays in his zone. I hope the hit does not bring any ptsd. Many here say he has improved which may be true but the little that I have watched I wasn't blown away by his so called improvement.
