Why can you say for sure say Broberg won't turn into phenomenal defenseman.

Has everything in the toolbox. Has made tremendous improvements; a guy who was getting blasted every time he had to go back for a puck because he had to adjust to N/A ice to a kid who's now beating everyone back for pucks and moving them before forecheckers can disrupt break outs. He's been good positionally and has picked up a point in 3 out of the last four games.

He keeps this up he can easily very easily be more important player than a one dimensional winger.
Hopefully he has a Draisaitl like development curve. Bad and not ready his first call up. Decent in his next one. Then a big jump in his third year.

I think some of the Broberg doubters (some, not all), might be in part that they don’t want to give Holland any credit for passing on Zegras, who seems like a terrible player outside of that one dimension. I still can’t believe he has so many PIM on his team, not for “good reasons either, basically just undisciplined junk like the one that Desharnais drew on him.

Soundwave not wanting to give Holland credit? Thats almost surprising considering he pollutes every thread with 1000 word essays about the same thing over and over again.

You mean prior generations didn’t get their mommies to buy them shiny things when they had left home for 5-6-7 years? Can you say disadvantaged?
lol I didn't even get to take my bed with me when I moved out. Never got the Dad hand me down vehicles either. My older bro totaled all those rolling into ditches. I think I got a few books to take with me and I'm just complaining. ;)

Yeah lets give out medals for wins against maybe the worst NHL team I've seen in 3 or 4 years. And no sorry I won't give credit to some one who is having a generational performance from basically 4 players and still we're the last Wild Card spot with other teams having games in hand on us.

You want a participation trophy, you're looking at the wrong poster.

Zegrass looked like total junk today. Hardly noticed him except for when a first game NHL D was owning him. I can't stand Zegras though, might just be me.

Zegras would be a 70+ point player here playing alongside McDavid or Draisaitl, don't kid yourself. Dallas Eakins makes players look like shit and eventually they just stop playing with any confidence.

You would think an Oiler fan would recognize the difference between putting up points and being an effective player. Broberg is much closer to becoming a difference maker in every aspect of the game. Zegras is good at getting points on the power play.

I know which one i would choose......

Ball 2, that’s funny. Keef and Mick (aka the glimmer twins)making sweet music together. I’m gonna stop there. The post lost has officially its cachet. That’s on me bud.
Its OK. Oddly I never really heard the Glimmer Twins comments or term and I read Up and down with the Rolling Stones and all those good books. heh

I never really bought the magazines, fanzines and stuff, just listened to the music

Athletic supporters - good confidence game for many secondary players. Kostin emerging into a heavy power forward with one-shot ability. Yamamoto with a hard forecheck game and disruptive. Nugent Hopkins, Janmark, Kostin with strong o-zone time and finishing work.

Desjarnais adding a simple, effective game with a physical element sorely needed on the d-corp. Broberg starting to get a groove defending and hard tape to take passes. Pretty good in board player where he seals off opposition players quite well. It's his strength in blue paint and open ice where he shows some physical immaturity yet. Campbell pegs in with a good situation getting a big W and some confidence.

Oil overwhelmed a very, very poor team tonight. Likely some distortion effect but so important to see some support tier players deliver strong games.

Nice game, good feels..

Anybody wanna credit Holland for getting BOTH Kostin and Janmark on the cheap and them being 2 parts of our best line in last several games? Not Hollands fault the coach went away from a line that was working very well and just went back to it.

Desharnais with a very effective rush stopping game. Controls so much ice with his wingspan and strong on his skates. This guy could be some appreciable help.
LD or RD? Is he here to stay? I hope so.

Your Penthouse Collection we’re not books.
Dad kept some of those too. Bastid. ;) RIP

Remember he liked Nancy Sinatra albums and herb Albert whipped cream albums and easily graduated to more graphic stuff. he was kind of a card. Real serious guy but could break up watching Cheech and Chong with the gang and drinking anybody anywhere under the table.

he got my bed because mom was getting on his nerves and he wanted his own room. Dad had a latent teenage phase I think. Years later I get it.
