So Ando is out for tonight's game. May be a good thing....not from a D perspective but certainly from a "hot under the collar" one. Who DOES come back into the lineup? Mesar and Swick maybe. I don't think Reid will be back for a few weeks and even if Martin was ready, I'd skip this one.

I'm on edge for this game so soon to the back-to-back but hopefully, more hockey and less bashing and antics tonight. I also hope that special focus by the OHL has been placed on who does the officiating.

Game on!
Reid is out until playoffs I believe

Be careful what you wish for.. Our ideas of who might be good to officiate this game and the OHLs idea may be entirely different.

Both of these teams are well coached with some good leaders I wouldn't be surprised by a fast nearly penalty free game tonight. Although the wrong set of stripes (5,10,38,9) can turn that pretty quickly.

Referee I: Jason Faist (5)
Referee II: Mac Nichol (33)
LINESMEN I: Dave Pfohl (96)
LINESMEN II: Dustin McCrank (68)

we have to remember this is a very young team and this is a rebuild year. It's not uncommon for these younger teams to be bullied by older teams like London. Each playoff game is a bonus this year as going in we weren't sure we would see any. Bodes well for next year.

The Rangers and London are virtually the same age wise.

In a year we bought at the deadline, I hope we’re not considering this a rebuild year. We entered the season expecting to lose much more than we’d win, but not anymore.

We are one of the top contenders in the league this year. If anything, the rebuild has just been delayed a year.

We need a big body in front. With Martin and Swick out, I’d put Andonovski there when he returns to see what havoc he can create. Need to screen the goalie.

On the first PP tonight, had we kept the puck in off the face off, we could have made something happen. But we didn’t keep it in and never got set up in their zone after.

And vs London, safe to say coaching has a lot to do with their success vs our PP.

Any and all good opportunities have been " high and wide".

Hate to rag on a bunch of teenagers while theyre down but seriously should be ashamed of that effort after the last 2 games against london. Just dont have it

Even not exactly accurate. The Rangers have played more 07s all season than the Knights have. I think Henry B is the only 07.

The difference?

Willmore got to see just about every shot. Easy night for him tonight.

Parsons was good again. Allowed a tip in and two rebounds he had no chance on. Wasn’t really beaten tonight except for the Sim goal.

But at the end of the day, this was an easy night for London. Rangers too nonchalant trying to exit their zone. Need more urgency in that area. Most times the Rangers crossed the London blueline, the play died. Passes intercepted, pucks given away, etc.

A lot of work to do going forward.

Rangers still have players missing which gives the others ice and opportunities to step up their games. Biggest issue I see are the vets playing perimeter hockey the whole game. No one wants to get a scratch or a bruise and battle their way to the net. This is why they can't find a captain. Would be great if someone could hit the net from 4 feet in front. Should be able to do that with your eyes closed. The Rangers never made any dangerous plays or really set up much at all in this game and credit to the Knights for a perfect road win.

Not gonna lie, I would take Jackson Parsons on our Knights team next year if you guys end up selling next year. And Rehkopf if you guys are feeling generous.

Parsons is so athletic, reads plays well, and always gives his all. Kinda reminds us of another Parsons we knew in London.
