5'6" . Never went for size. Suppose to be skilled. Strange pick. Ranked 56th on Elite Prospects.
Was ranked higher on others. Headrick was on the top like with Belchetz and had 14 goals and 13 assists in 15 playoff and OHL Cup games. I heard "another Azevedo" and I'll take that any day!

Alexander Bilecki 2nd pick. 6' Offensive defenseman. Suppose to be one of the best offensive Dmen. Brock Otten
A replacement for Bruz? Solid pick.

For those who didn't see this:

Alexander Bilecki, F, Mississauga Rebels
Bilecki is the perfect polar opposite of Wathier, as his game is all about offensive involvement. His game revolves around constantly activating, whether it's on the rush or within the offensive zone, Alexander wants to get involved with the play. If there's an opportunity to get level with the play or rotate back door for a seam pass, Bilecki will almost always take advantage and explode into open space. While operating at the point, he's been easily the best passer and rarely settles for low danger shots, as he's always looking to find ways to thread pucks around the offensive zone to teammates in prime shooting locations. There's some rounding out to do in other areas, but in terms of pure offence, Bilecki is near the very top, if not the best, among defenders in the class.

Interesting fact from Brown. Older brother Owen Headrick played for the Erie Otters 2016-2018. Won the OHL Crown. Defenseman. 6 feet tall. Evan has room to grow.
Brother Owen was listed as 5’ 9.5” 188lbs when he was drafted by Erie in 2013.

Based on that, I suppose we could expect Evan to add on a couple inches over the next few years?

I think we should go with another D in the 4th.
If Jacob Xu is still there, I’d grab him.

Then it’s probably flyer time after that.

Agreed. Rated reasonably high by some, and not yet picked.

I see that Noah Barton has been compared to Andonovski. Maybe another good one to consider; I have no clue. FWIW, that same site compared Weston Cameron to Gabriel Frasca.

Rumour out there is that the Rangers were taking O’Donnell at 15 but Brantford took him one pick earlier. Tripped up, the Rangers had to scramble and opted for Headrick.
Perhaps come the Jan. '25 trade deadline Brantford finds themselves a serious contender and the Rangers somehow peel away this kid from the Dog's ;) . Lardis plus another high-end '05 that comes to mind may make a deadly duo going into the '25 playoffs. Wishful thinking of course.

Not so wishful I’d think.

Moving that 05 almost certainly brings in an 08 1st rounder. Brantford is a definite possibility.

That and they have a very deep draft pick cupboard.

Owen Beck to Saginaw would be a good comparable as far as Rehkopf being one of if not the top 05 made available at next year’s deadline.

Beck “only” brought Peterboro an 07 1st, 2x2nds and a 3rd because he called his shot. Pete’s had little bargaining power.

If we have multiple possible destinations for Rehkopf, we should get that return at least.

I don't get it...........listed at #4 for D.........
