I haven't seen that Xu has a NCAA commit. I did see him on a list of potential draft picks that have BCHL or USHL commits.

Yes….it wasn’t a NCAA commit. I’m just drawing a blank on where. He would have been a 2nd round pick if not committed elsewhere. Big add if he signs.

I like taking the risks this late. Bray I think would have been a mid 2nd to late 2nd if not a BCHL commit. Xu I think would of been taking 5 to 10 spots ahead of Bray.

Might that not give 2nd thoughts to doing so in the first place?

If the suspension starts when the injured player comes back would give some pause for thought about dangerous hits. Never happen. Team with injured player sends a tape in. The offending team does the same. Turns into a wash. League office wants to temper complaints and keep everyone happy.

Hextall grandson of Ron Hextall. Sign a tender with Youngstown Phantoms Teams can sign two 08s to tenders. Signing Hextall , Youngstown forfeits their 1st and 2nd rnd picks in the USHL draft. Kid had 95 points. Suppose to be quite a dangler on the ice. PS: They also signed Beckam Edwards(sp) whose name was in this draft.

Looking at the icetime this seasons rookies got, Xu shouldn't be concerned about his icetime here under Jussi. Added bonus is Dan Lebold will be able to use that extra "X" that came in the two pack of letters he ordered for Arber Xhejah.

Motew is a target in these playoffs. Not a big defenseman. Rangers weakness is the defense especially short handed. That's what opponents go after. What happened to Campbell?
