A part from Slaf, I think Dach is the player I'm the most excited to see this season.

Feel like it might be a breakout season for him. If his shot improves even just a tidy bit more, I can easily see a 60pts season.

The big boys are fun because there's usually a delay until they put it all together but when/if they do, they're some of the most fun players to watch in the league.

Dach improving on his offensive skillset is awesome.

This is such bad news. If Dach improves his shot, it could score more goals, which means more wins, which means less chances we win the lottery next year. When will the habs learn?!? !?!?! !?

The mystery box could be anything it could be a boat, you know we’ve always wanted one of those.

Will take the box!

I’m not expecting anything from Slaf this year. I just hope he improves and shows he belongs at the NHL level.

If Dach does improve this year, I hope that will tame people's expectations on Slaf. I mean it probably won't but at least we'd have some proof that people should be patient.

I'm expecting him just to show improvement from last year. That's all we can really ask of him tbh. Like you said, as long as he looks like an NHLer this year, I'll be happy.

38 points is his top so far and that was in an injury shortened tanking season, lets see what he does this year.Tanking is done or not? gotta be at a minimum 60 points and show overall improvement and consistency.

If there's one guy on this roster that I think can really explode in the next season or two (outside of Suzuki and Caufield), it's Dach. I'm really, really high on him, if he can improve his shot just a little bit he will be an all around weapon. And even if not we're talking about a 6'4 center with high IQ, superb playmaking, strong two way play, and can gain the zone with ease. Not to mention watching him go from a big kid trying to figure things out to realizing he can push people around. He made guys like Clutterbuck and Gudas look like ragdolls at times. I really think he can be a special player and I believe he has higher upside than Suzuki, if he can grow into that 1c role and push Nick down a slot we're laughing.

I just don't like Anderson with those two, I find his style of play doesn't mesh well.

And hopefully they keep Dach at center for the whole year instead of yoyoing him.

The camp can't start soon enough!
Anderson doesn't have the hockey sense or ability to mesh with really any linemates other than ones who play the exact same style as him. He has zero passing ability, hands, puck possession skills, cycling. Skate, shoot, forecheck, hit. That's all he has in his bag. Every time we put him with 2 skilled guys he just neuters their skill game. You definitely need players LIKE Anderson to pair with skill players but you need ones who can actually facilitate play as well like a Hornqvist or something

Im expecting near ppg for all of our top three forwards. Ill disappointed in anything else. (Over .9 lets say)

Newhook and RHP near 50.

Slaf above 35.

Anything under and its a fail.

It seemed like they see him going back on the wing which is weird. They didn't talk about his play at C starting in mid Dec.
Kirby didn't bother correcting tem.
