16 posts and is already trolling… I’ll ignore

I think Dach’s shot is weird, but no. The 1st line is not losing games lol.

He right about his shot... Dach need to improve that part of his game, but soft?! I think he troll like you said. That's the first thing Dach play better than with Chicago, he is more engaged. He is a perfect fit to Suzuki and Caufield.

I watch hockey and not just Habs, but yeah thinking that Dach is soft after 24 good games from him, that's a bad statement man 😂

Believe it or not but there are several fans in our herd that do not watch all the games.... even this year when the product is more entertaining to watch.

Anybody saying Dach is soft is off the rails.

I would have assumed it’s 4 rookies on D, the worst vet group in the league and average goalies, but ok.

btw I clicked on « Broome » in your link, sweet looking spot!
That's why one should never assume.lol.

If you like hot and humid and being on your toes,it's spiffy.lol.

The point was to develop him as a center
Thinking in the NHL, a kids development is pretty fluid..............he has had some amazing games as a winger....
The trio are dangerous............we haven't had that in 10-15 years.
So where he plays as he develops really shouldn't matter........this is a year where everyone including fans should just enjoy what we have, and squirm with what we don't have....
At C or RW the kid is a good player. 21 yrs old......

I think part of his development as a top 6 C is to produce points, which is what he does on the first line as a W.
This is the time to develop players. Not win hockey games. He's learning to win draws. The guy just won 4 of 5 draws, has 35% career faceoff percentage. He's on a hot streak, let him gain experience. He needs to practice faceoff until he sees pucks drop in his sleep. Dach more value as center than winger.

There aren't enough faceoffs taken during a game to develop your faceoff skills by playing center vs wing. It's something you have to do at practice so you can actually get a lot of reps.

Nothing replaces game action. Dach needs to practice faceoffs to be good center. He's played 20 games at wing. It's time to develop players, try him as center.

That's simply not true. If you want to improve your skating, game action will do pretty much nothing, working with a skating coach at practice where you can focus/work on fixing any technical issues with your stride is how you would actually improve. And it's the same for a lot of other skills too. Taking a hundred faceoffs at the end of every practice will do far more then playing a game at center.

If Kirby Dach shoot more in game, he is going to be a star player. He is already a amazing playmaker, but his shootout goal show that he can shoot. Like Slafkovsky mom said... SHOOT MORE!!!!

Would like to see him be more assertive especially on the power play. He was borderline embarrassing on the PP last night. Solid 5-5 though

This is all assumptions. He could also be more valuable on the wing and develop quicker generally. I don’t see the rush in dismantling the second best first line in the league. He’s benefitting big time and having one good night on the dot doesn’t mean it’s time to scramble the lines. Winning hockey games develops hockey players. Not winning a few draws. His time will come at C

There's no rush, but we only have 3 other NHL Cs on the roster. They aren't moving him off that line arbitrarily, it's only being done because Monahan is out and we don't really want Dvorak and Evans playing big minutes in his absence.
