I only looked at contingencies. I couldn’t have possibly have thought it was the case without listening to what he said, which I still haven’t been able to cause no source was provided for your assertions. It’s just your opinion at this point.

Maybe it was not direct but implied. It kind of rings a bell. But the "they traded him for a reason, if he's 21 and in a rebuild" line is valid (for whatever reason)

Still, if you look at Leclerc takes, that I posted earlier, you can see that he got know idea what he's talking about, hockey wise.

He should stick to journalism, his profession, and leave the hockey takes to the experts

Anyways....Dach looks great on our top line. He looks energized and enthused on the ice, joking with the guys. I absolutely love seeing it
When’s the last time we had a first line performing at current levels? Hoping it’s sustainable but Dach sure has taken off. All of a sudden, it won’t matter if he’ll spend most of his time as a winger, if he keeps looking as comfortable as he has with Suzuki and Caufield.

Dach a lot better player since moving from center. Doesn't have the defensive responsibility and his poor faceoff percentage is removed.

He's getting more points and chances on the wing, but I don't think he looked poor at center either. The main issue imo is that he just couldn't get it going from a scoring standpoint with the secondary forwards on this squad. I don't think that's a kirby dach problem, I think it's a canadiens problem.

Kirby was creating goals every game at center except one poor effort.. just had trash to finish.

Are people really not happy when we got him during draft night? I was excited af

I was bouncing off the walls when the trade was announced and then I came on here and couldn't believe all the bitching and crying going on.

I remember someone said we gave Romanov away for another Kotkaniemi and I seriously laughed out loud so hard the whole house shook.

What a god damn fleece

Kirby just needed vote of confidence from his coach, management and teammates. 3 things he didn't have in Chicago.
He also needed time to properly nurse and heal his injured wrist. Crazy that they rushed a kid back unto the ice when they were not even contenders.

They gave up on this kid and traded away a 24 year old 40 goal scorer…not sure what they’re doing in Chicago.

So much speed and fluid skating/hands to go with a great iq. This guy could be a very special player for us.

Kudos Hugo on great asset management 🙏🍻
Only took them 48 hours to get him

Lmao! It was so worth it. I guess most people want established players right away. Me I like players with a lot of potential. Kirby has shown us that so far
