Most disappointing series I’ve seen by far expected it to go 6 or 7 beforehand
There have been a lot of disappointing series over the years.

- loss to Niagara 8 years ago (swept in round 2 as the top seed)
- loss in 1997-98 to Knights with one of the best offenses the OHL has ever seen
- loss to Bulls in 1994-95 after finishing first and getting a bye (David Ling year)
- blowing the 3-0 lead to the Petes in one of the Bennett years

These ones also sting for me.

Niagara one was very close- 2 ot games and all games close but yes it’s second for me.

I’ve head about bulls one but I believe there was an injury?

Pete’s was brutal but just first round. Nick Ritchie what a player he was in the ohl.

To me Hamilton series was the worst. Many had it going 6 or 7. Some had us even winning it and to lose 4 straight where the whole team is playing like complete dog shit and helvig the goalie of the year was playing like franky pallazzeeze when he was with us to go with the helvig chants. What a nightmare. Not to mention I believe it’s the furthest kingston has ever gotten in the playoffs

Great first period for the boys- probably just the way coach drew it up. Hope they keep the pedal to the metal

Tough. We didn't play to anywhere near where we should have but the Soo goal that was reviewed and somehow allowed tonight was absolutely the momentum shift. What a disaster of a third period.

Absolutely. No idea how it counts when there is 6 guys clearly on the ice. Also fronts didn’t get many calls their way at all. Not sure why Mann didn’t use any timeouts. Atleast I assume he didn’t- jim gilchrest never mentioned if he did.

He called a timeout after Miedema's late goal to make it 6-5 with just over a minute left. Personally I would have called it much earlier, but I'm no expert.

The ling one was tough, probably the best team they’ve ever had. Painful memories lol

Ling was playing with one hand. The other was either broken or had a couple of broken fingers. If I remember correctly. Memories fade lol.
He had 7 goals and 8 assists in 6 games while playing with a broken thumb. I remember him taking a slash at the end of the regular season, but i can't remember who did it.

I wanna say Marc Savard, but it was a long time ago.

I agree. They scored 4 goals in 4 minutes. No reason not to call a timeout or make a goalie change there

I think it was Larry Courville, but he lost the scoring title to Savard
I don’t think Larry Courville as he was not playing at the end of the regular season. He had been out in the second half with a serious issue with his leg and was not back until the first round playoff series against Peterborough (which the Petes won).

Soooo Kyle Downey played for Guelph tonight? Guess we have no safety net for Salajko now? What is happening lol

I think Kyle Downey is still the property of the Kingston Frontenacs. He is on Emergency loan to the Guelph Storm according to Guelph Today.

I don’t recall that happening before

It’s rare, but it’s happened before. One that comes to mind was the Ottawa 67’s had sent a goalie to Wellington years ago. Belleville needed an emergency backup and had him dress. I know this because I was at the game lol. Can’t remember the kids name though.

Never have I heard that before with a goalie supposedly owned by another OHL club.

Finished watching the last couple of games, been a bit behind the schedule. How embarrassing for the ohl to review the too many man ice for the Soo and call it a good goal. What is going on in this league?? Clearly six players in the camera shot. That killed Kingston for at least one point.

Now, hate to say it but ever since the Outwater trade, who knows what team shows up. Love the addition of Frasca, but the third line just doesn’t seem to have any chemistry. Thibideau continues to give bad turnovers, and they are giving up goals. I think they need to push the 4th line up to the third, and drop the third to the fourth.

If Miedema doesn’t start being more impactful maybe drop him down for Thibideau, who will have to play off wing but maybe it will change something.

I like the PP with Frasca, first line has been great, fourth line has been great, Hemstrom and Frasca have been great, third line…..struggling.

For d, we are either going to win or lose based on their play, so many give always in our own zone, and getting beat to the outside.

Hope the boys can put it together for Sudbury missing Ludwinski, Chromiak and Holmes.

When is Slovakia's camp? Chromiak is still on the game sheet for this afternoon and Sudbury still has Dvorsky.

Also, when the hell is Vaccari going to get a break? Unless they want to just ride him until they decide selling vs buying then if they sell use Salajko a little more, Vaccari has played way too much imo

Worst period of the year by FAR. Need to pull vaccari between periods here clearly not in the game right now. Been ran twice and gave up 6 goals.

Uens is a turnover machine caused 4th and 5th goals not sure how ANYONE is high on him. He is absolutely horrible. Would be a better as a forward.

100% need to pick up a backup goalie for games like today. I don’t like salajkos play but at this point in the game it can’t really get any worse they need to put him in.

This is unreal.

Get Vaccarri out of the net already? What is going on behind the scenes that they play this kid every single minute. He obviously needs a rest after that game Saturday.

6th ranked PP and we get chance early and decide to change it up? First shorthanded goal against in awhile. All downhill from there. Yes Chromiak scored his first the other night, not sure why that makes him PP quarterback. His toughest period as a Front but no one at all is going.

Too funny how Uens is the only one you constantly pick on Fronts67. Did you not see the giveaways by Chromiak and Williamson and the 20 turnovers by our fwds. Thibodeau has at least 5 himself. You know if the D get the puck to a fwd and he fumbles it, missed it or fake misses it out of fear, or brinsg it back into our own end, that's not on the D.

Now 7-0. Another PP and the same unit almost gives up another shorty. It's like Caputi is coaching again.
