Adding on to that and just throwing names out there....SSM would make sense as would London, Kitchener, Saginaw (if the Beck deal falls through, of course), and Sudbury. Gonna be a real interesting couple days here.
If what I've seen on other threads is true and Beck doesn't want to be traded, would that make Ludwinski the top guy on the market? If Sag/SSM have to pivot away from Beck there could be a bidding war for Ludwinski.

McCarthy has 0 points in the last 10 games.
Pieniniemi the same in the last 10 including the world juniors (7gp) safe to say he’s not developing well over there
I think the ship has sailed about him coming over here obviously but very interesting

According to a person on the London board- jax dubois from Peterborough may be heading here. Not sure any other details other than that but I would welcome it with open arms
If he is traded I am hoping the Petes a get a 2nd and 4th for him if they cannot get a player in return. I am still not convinced that he will be traded. The Petes need to ice a team and try to win some games.

It's not really a surprise that Pieninimi is not scoring. He is not an offensive D. He is a shut-down down D or a defenseman that you put out with a goalscoring defenseman. He actually would be an asset but I agree that ship has not only sailed but it is at the next port off loading to the AHL next year.
