It's looking to be his worst year ever since at least his USHL days. He's playing on a major league, professional team, that is still comfortably in the top 10 in GA, and he's having the worst year of his career.

Whereas Budaj is looking to have his best ever year, other than last year in Ontario.

This season is so odd.

Odd indeed. There isn't really one person to point fingers at. Someone definitely needs to light a fire under them so they can get going and work towards winning another cup.

I'd recommend reading the article Frozen Royalty posted today: LA Kings Are Showing Signs Of Shaken Confidence, Frustration, Tension. I'm going to post in the thread right now.

Ouch.

Ouch is right.

I take back all the nice things I've said recently. Not being at a home game for a month was like breaking up with a girl and then missing her a month later because you forgot how much it actually sucked having her around.

"It wasn't that bad!" Yes. Yes it was.

Terrible make up date

Had a good lol that we didn't even get one power play last night, either.

Yet another team on the list of perfect angels.

Eh, the Kings gotta earn those calls. They used to draw calls all the time because they never quit on pucks and always kept their skates moving. They float around too much now. They don't commit enough and I really think that impacts their ability to draw PPs.

Another throw away game.

The Kings didn't show up much. That falls on the entire team, coach on down.

Starting to think Dustin Brown, was the only guy keeping that locker room together. I would bet Brown treats it as a day job now, probably first guy out the door after a game.

The grinders have to be dispatched. Just so many forwards on LA who do not have the ability to create offense on their own. Sutter's Stiffs are dragging this team to the bottom

Those stiffs are keeping the team afloat with depth scoring, while a 14 million dollar forward is on pace for Nine goals in a season.

Again *****ing about the bottom six or the Trevor Lewis's of the world is a waste of time.

They are not the reason the Kings can't score.

It's Kopitar/Gabo/Toffoli(injured)Pearson to some extent, he did go 12+ games without a goal. I just named four of the top six.

Also the Kings have drafted poorly over the last Five years, that is coming home to roost, that is Futa and his staff's fault.

At this point, someone else has to have a career year to make up for Kopitar's/Gabo's loss of production.

Pearson/Toffoli, need more out of those guys to pick up slack. We all know what Brown is, but Gabo/Kopitar are killing this team.

Hopefully Toffoli comes back 100% healthy.

Gabo's last 75 NHL games: 13 Goals total, only 9 of those are ES.
