maybe if the Wild finally beating the Sharks (they are leading) after getting taken to the wood shed time after time by the Sharks, they will have a let down like the Kings tonight.

There found another positive:laugh: or rather a hope.

Ha, called it with my friends that the Wings third string goalie would shut them out.

He didn't even face a single threatening shot. Kings had over 30 meaningless shots from along the perimeter.

Jared Coreau another back up goalie that puts notch on the King's bed post of shutting them down.

Even the radio broadcast is finding every excuse not to talk about the game.

When Jim and Bob started talking about the moon landing and color tv i was losing my ****

Looking forward to Saturday's inexplicable win. Feeling real confident in my homestand predictions now.

Best thing about the game was Patrick O'Neal's jig in the post-game show over the US win. Wish I had a gif of that.

Well, time to move on and go watch the History Channel's The Selection.

Highs and lows in one night, man. That USA-Canada game was really something. Then this game....well, it was something too.

I contemplated changing "GDT" to "PGT" after the first goal but out of sheer morbid curiosity I did not

Should have changed it to WGS. The Kings certainly didn't. One flipping point ahead of Vancouver now.

8 regulation goals in the last 6 games. 14 regulation goals in the last 10 games.

5v5 scoring:
Purcell, 12GP, 0G, 2pts
Gaborik, 17GP, 0G, 2pts

Brown, still only 1 goal at 5v5 for the season, and 1 goal in his last 20.

Kopitar, 0 goals in his last 11, and 1 in his last 28.

A ton of money, and a lot of ice time, and a lot of 0's.

The closest Detroit had to come to taking a penalty was a PS for Pearson. Other than that, they didn't even make the Wings break a sweat.

Man... Nolan is playing amazing right now! Kids on fire! Hope he keeps it up, just a matter of time before the puck starts going in for him!

Grats on the first career shutout!!!!

Good game, worked hard. Can't win them all.

Sometimes I forget that Gaborik is even playing.

Brown is what we he is at this point, an annual candidate for being bought out.

Kopitar's 1 goal in 28 games streak reminds me of the dry spells we'd see from the likes of Stoll, Smolinski and Handzus.

Didn't think one of the highest paid players in the game would be compared to that group, but that's the level of production we're getting out of him. He'll be lucky to hit the 50-point range.

Maybe they're all just saving their offense for the playoffs? Like last season, and the season prior.

Jesus Christ I was so elated after the Gold Medal game and then I had to switch over this ****? This team is like clock work. Plays your ass off in 2 great games against one of your biggest rivals and then absolutely **** the bed against a ****ty team.
