I'm still hoping we can sign Mason Raymond, solid player with good wheels, has put up respectable numbers in the past. Another 2nd/ 3rd line LW option. 1 year deal 1.5-2 mill if we're lucky. He even fits with our core age group.

Raymond won't take a pay cut for one year, it would take a multi-year deal. Also if it didn't work out with the Sedins, I doubt it would work out in our top 6. We would be paying for a 3rd liner and we have plenty of those.

I think we are over looking a player like Prospal. He played with Carter in CLB and led his team in scoring. We need some more vets in the lineup to balance the young core coming up next year. If our cap space is 1.5-2, I would kick tires on a one year deal.

There's a name I haven't heard in a while. Steve McKenna gave me his stick after a practice at the old West Valley Iceoplex in like... '96. I still have it. It's huge and heavy as hell. I didn't really know who he was, though. I was 6 or 7 years old.

Kostistsyn is a world class talent. He lacks awareness as evidenced by that play. You misunderstand the definition of talent.
