Goddamnit.

As a Caps fan, my favorite team in the West to watch was the Kings, and now they got ****ing Schultz.

Beware. Worst hockey player in the NHL by far, bar done. Absolutely atrocious.

Incoming trade or not, we are still left with Schultz on the team.

Pretty much my guess as well. I'll got further in saying Martinez gets dealt for a winger who has a similar cap hit to what Martinez will have. Could be someone with a slightly high cap hit. But, not much bigger. (Just my guess)
 
I read that Lombardi tried to acquire him once before. The kings scouts see something.

You know, these "Cup is ours" and "Boom raise the cup" really aren't all that funny because, well because...

We are one season removed from actually winning the Cup.

So this player may not be "the difference maker" for the Cup, but we already have the core from our recent title.

And speaking of trading one of our defensemen, I have a feeling Nashville, Ottawa, or Colorado might have some wing depth and we could trade a low risk defenseman for a low risk forward.

TSN crew kept bringing up Detroit during Free Agent Frenzy as a team that was overloaded with forwards now that would need to make decisions on who to keep and who to ditch.
