it appears the cracks in the porcelain have gone through this antiquated mediocre hockey club. this is coach firing time. thanks for the cups DS kick rocks lets try gallant who wanted the panthers to be the new kings.

no. they ruined that team with changes leading to gallant giving up. the players their GM all obtained were busts and the coach got fired. seems very similar.
What would be the point of pulling the goalie? You think this team is going to score two goals in the last couple minutes when they couldn't do dick for the previous 58?
Kyle Clifford is now tied in goals with Kopitar, Jordan Nolan one goal behind him. I'm sure we'll continue to see *****ing about the bottom six for the remainder of the season though...

Geez this team sucks at the moment. Zatkoff has been pretty terrible, I feel sorry for the guy, but he isn't up to snuff.
add richards and you are spot on. this team is like a chicken with his head cut off that said F-it and laid down.

It's the only way to go.
Their process wins would count for a lot more if they'd gotten some actual wins earlier. Kopitar and Gaborik have 4 goals. So do Dowd, Shore, Setoguchi, and Clifford. Nolan has 3. King has 5. Lewis has 6. Even Dustin frikkin' Brown has 6.

Kopitar has gone from being my favorite player to the one player who disappoints me the most.
He is leading this team to a lottery pick with his lackluster effort inside the offensive zone. His performance is unacceptable and someone on the coaching staff or in management needs to rip him a new one. He needs to wake the **** up and start performing like a captain.

Also can we stop *****ing about Sutter having guys like Clifford/Shore/Lewis/Nolan on the ice with the extra man?
If the Kings trade Budaj for some picks they might be able to catch the Av's in the standings.

Lombardi isn't going to do anything before the next game, so I'm really hoping it's Kopitar and Gaborik instead. If Kopitar is too hurt to score, sit. $10m cap hit, $14m salary, 4 goals. I'd rather the Kings not have the best 3rd line center in the league. Damn near every goal Gaborik scored in the 2014 playoffs was from within stick length of the goalie. If he's not going to go there, sit. I can't take the floating. If you're old and done, I get it. Please retire if that's the case. It's easy money for him though, so he won't.

Three contracts that are among the worst in the league when you look at their production. Their combined goal totals are pathetic.
Gotta admit, went back through the thread since I missed the game and this made me laugh hard.
Let me introduce you to the 2016-17 LA Kings...
The Kings F need to have more creativity coming over the blue line. Crisscross lanes, drop passes, toe drags to gain middle of ice, etc. Instead they look like the Ice Crew coming in their lanes, and shoot a couple inches over the blue line, and that's if they manage to stay onsides. Actually the ice crew looks much better coming over the blue line!!! Ahem, well, of course they do!! DS has stifled any offense creativity out of these guys because who needs a well timed poke check and the opponent is off to the races the other way. The Kings need to take a different look at their risk reward factor in being more creative.
