So if we aren't off of our hinges upset with everything Kings we are satisfied with only one cup? Is that how it works? To me that is a truly sad thing to read around here. Its cool to vent and poke at each other after the start we are having but we are all Kings fans who want the same thing.

Patience doesn't mean that you quit wanting the best out of your team and each other. It just means that the world hasn't ended just yet and that you can see where we can and will get better. Or at least aren't willing to fall apart just yet.

It isn't panic button time at least I don't think so. This IS the team that won the cup and had a great run getting to the playoffs last year.

We JUST got Kopi back, give the guy and his line a few games to sync back up.

The rest of the guys I have spoken about already. We need to be upset. Its good to be upset. The team needs to realize that it is going to have to work harder than last year against everyone BECAUSE we won the cup and we are the team that EVERY team will measure itself against.

I think that they will and losing these games early is the best time to do so and that we will see a much better team much more quickly as a result of it happening now rather than have a mediocre start.

Its all good. We are ll fans and there isn't a right or wrong way to represent your feelings after a game like this. Just remember we are all fans.

Supposedly Darryl is not happy, at all.

@dantencer: Sutter just came walking down the hallway looking for the officials. Only reason he'd be down this far. Long way from Kings room.

@dantencer: Will air Darryl Sutter on CHED as soon as we can bleep out the f-bomb...

@dantencer: My visitors dressing room guy just came back from Sutter scrum and told me "you're gonna wanna run that...he's gonna get fined"

Good.

How is he going to get fined? Nobody knows what he ever says. :sarcasm:

I can't wait to see this.

Reffing was atrocious but it went both ways and in my eyes probably against the Oilers more than the Kings. The too many men call was the correct one, Richards just needs to pick up his feet and hustle, not glide from the opposing blueline.

I missed the too many men penalty.. what exactly is he mad about?

Well I think the last one in OT was borderline. I think Sutter probably feels that shouldn't be called in OT.

Sutter had Murder in his eye's after that call.

I am not sure if it was directed at Richards or the Ref's.

We shouldn't have a cup hangover. Half the seasons gone. It's not like they didn't have time to recover.

That's the problem, the long break made them get a little too comfortable. A shorter break would've benefitted them more. They took too much time away from the game and most were not playing competitive hockey.

This team is too complacent and lackadaisical, which is what they looked like under Terry Murray. As someone else mentioned, they're developing bad habits once again.

So you're just happy with one championship? And then what? They go back to being bad again? Come on, stop living in the past, time to move on and watch this team become more than a one-year wonder. Start of this season has been horrendous, they haven't played well for a full game yet.

It's been three games, are you that impatient? I fully think we will compete again for another Cup. But I believe the season lasts 48 games, not 3.

Not trying to pick on Richie again, but he's always slow to make line changes.

Btw can we start the Brown trade rumors again? :D

If he is going to get fined his anger must be directed at the refs.

It was a poorly officiated game on both ends.

That is why I hate games were teams take a lot of Penalty's. Cause the Refs feel obligated to even them up.

to those wondering why no one was winning faceoffs at the end, it's cause several times whoever was taking the draw for LA didn't try to win it back, instead they tried to shoot it to the open point for an easy clear.

Stoll tends to do this a lot, and he tends to fail most times. With Edmonton's first goal and the start of the powerplay in OT he tried to do those and didn't get either of them out of the zone.

since the refs were calling everything, shouldn't they have called delay of game for the trash on the ice? :sarcasm:

Well to be honest Richards did glide to the bench but its still right on the line I thought

I would rewind to see myself but I don't have that type of luxury, haha.

But, I mean.. if it's the right call.. it's the right call. I think he should be taking his frustration out on the team. But, then again.. that might be too much. I'm sure the comments will be hilarious either way.
