Kings Lose 7-2

Yep, just like he did last year after Game 2 against the Blues. Shut the door in them the rest of the series.

Don't know if you guys saw it but on CBC they showed him at one point late in the 3rd going to the bench during a stoppage and talking to his teammates. Could only guess what he said but it shows the type of player he is.

Know it won't happen but i would not mind him wearing the C.

If the Kings wanted to move Brown there'd be a dozen teams lining up, you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Hell, I'd even be willing to bet there's a buyer or two out there for Richards.

Like putting a bunch of rookies at forward is going to stop the Sharks from SHREDDING the Kings Defenders that are getting torched all over the place.

He has good moments but overall he sucks compared to his contract.

Congratulations on the victory tonight. It sucks for us but the Sharks earned it.

Or putting a bunch of rookies on the back end next year. The defense will still suffer, but hey, at least it'll be quicker. I've said it all year we needed at LEAST two defenders this off season. It's a shame we need a bit more.

Sutter postgame is much more polite than i expected...and as i guessed, he said they dressed 7 dmen because they weren't sure a couple of their Dmen could get through the game

Guess Doughty and Regehr are still hurt or some of the other guys are

Agree completely. Players don't just fall off the map to other teams. One of the issues I have with Lombardi is I think he marries himself to certain players. I think to stay competitive in this league you definitely have to inject the team with hungry players. I don't see the same hunger the Kings had in 2012. It's just not there. IMHO, they need to work the kids in there and show the veterans what they need to do.

I wanted one at the deadline, now Sutter is saying a (few guys did not make through the game).
