Put Pearson and Vey in there, swap out some of the defensemen. They can't do any worse than Richards and Brown. Most people forget that when we went on that winning streak all the rookies were playing, and playing well.
 
I will say it again,

Since Jamie Kompon has left, the forwards have been terrible on breaking up breakouts from opposing teams.

Davis Payne has been an awful coach if you ask me.
 
I'm curious... in a race, who would win? Richards, Greene, regehr or Mitchell. man we must have one of the slowest d-corps in the league

but anyways, I'd say, Mitchell
 
Probably the most embarrassed I've been as a fan. Been a fan since 90 and this takes the cake. I expect us to lose but to do it like this?

Fake tough team right now. Outroughed by a bunch of sissies. Outsmarted by a gang of buffoons. And outskilled by playoff choke artists.

**** happens all the time but this type of **** is rare to smell.

Pearson will be in and I think Richards will be on the 4th line.

If they don't go with that at home with the last change down 0-2 in the series, I'll wonder what the deal is.
 
The only thing that could possibly make me happy right now is if Ellen Page married me or Frolov coming back to the NHL.

This thread is going to be filled with ignorant posts about "systems," "team speed," and "the playbook on how to beat the Kings" ect.

But the truth is, none of those things are what caused the Kings to be unfocused and un-energetic.

Sharks want it. Kings look like they want to hit the golf course and chill on the beach.

The thing I don't get, almost everyone here watches every Kings game, I mean what gave anyone an idea that he would suddenly turn it on in the playoffs when he was so bad all year? Yeah people say "he has been a playoff player in the past" and that is true, but he was also a good regular season player in the past.

MR has been no better or worse in these two games than he has been the previous 60 games, yet now people suddenly agree that he should be bought out?
 
Richards won't be getting traded. Williams, Mitchell, and Greene will all be gone though. IMO.

All it takes is a couple of losses to see who the true kings fans are. :shakehead
 
Man I hope the media gets to talk to Quick. I love the passion he has for the game.

He of course will blame himself, but I love the guy.
 
I understand winning the cup can cause a hangover, but this all starts with Dustin Brown. He's the Captain and he needs to lead with his play. Have you guys seen him?
 
how do you not put in vey and pearson?? seriously!! add nolan and make it your second line. take out gabby, richie and greene
 
Gave up 13 goals in 2 playoff games. But hey, we won the Jennings trophy! :laugh: Ah, Kings, love ya.

We might blow off steam and moan and groan and rant and rave and roll our eyes, but saps that we are, we'll be back for the next game. ;)

I am still giving Brown a pass, this is his first bad season, He played pretty well down the stretch here.
