Why the hell does Gilbert have more minutes than Petry?

Gilbert is our new #4 D man?

I remember watching Drew Doughty for the first time in 2010 Olympics and praying to Baby Jesus that we would one day have a player like him. Baby Jesus answered my prayers.

Sweet Lil' Baby Jesus works in mysterious ways.

That's hilarious. The Kings got seven shots on net, and seven scoring chances, so essentially every shot was a scoring chance.

Frustrating formula of late. We outshoot an opponent, work hard up front, but giveaways in our own end (mainly from the D corps) and the fact our backups aren't Price (aka dominant world class goalies) makes for heartaching 1 goal losses. And not in OT even! With 3rd periods being particularly ugly once the opponent raises their game. I like our play in this game but it seems to be following that formula anyway.

Love how when DD does shoot it's with a 4 on 2 rush going and it's a routine save for Quick that squanders what could've been a good chance.

In reality, they were at the end of a shift, and got an offensive zone faceoff which contributes to driving the momentum forward for the team. From where he was DD wasn't going to do much.
