12 years of Chevy and we’re battling a 2nd year expansion team for a wild card P.O. spot

And with two teams where one GM threw in the towel at the trade deadline and the other team has the media is saying that multiple players have told their management that they don't want to play for their coach anymore.

Wheeler only played 15:21 FTR. He’s basically played 3rd line minutes with PP time.

Yeah, I joked about it in the GDT but his penalty actually did end up affecting his TOI.

Apparently, like with PoMo, players have to take themselves off the team because management wants everyone to be happy and feel warm and cuddly. Don’t know if ownership is pulling the strings, but if not they need to dump Chevy and find a GM with a sense of urgency. If they are running things they should find a different business. This isn’t overreaction. It is just common sense.

Ok yeh but even if you add a minute he was still 7th in ice time among forwards. Unfortunately he had a really bad game. It doesn’t help that most of the team is playing bad. I think a big line shuffling is needed.

And to think, some of this board thought Winnipeg could sustain interests unlike Atlanta with average or bad teams. Bad teams rarely sell except in certain markets regardless of the sport. And it’s really unfortunate right now. Team has to have a direction to get people back interested.

Wow, just wow what a terrible effort from our supposed best players . Other than Morrissey none of our defensemen can hit the net with a shot . Scheifele just floating around all game, Wheeler is just absolutely hilarious in a bad way .LA is good but that was absolutely a terrible effort from too many guys.

Well I am not looking forward to the shiny silver helmeted Kings meeting the shiny golden helmeted Knights in the playoffs, but that could very well be the ugly destiny of this season.

On the ice another early one digs the hole. Faceoffs key to 2 Kings goal on this day.

Shooting practice seems in order, does anyone have the number of missed shots the Jets had in this game? If you don't hit the net, especially shooting from an angle, there are no second chances.

PP got one nice goal but sapped the momentum. I would have liked to have seen the goalie pulled on the final PP, Jets needed a goal there, in the worst kind of way. Bones coached that game from a defeated position in my view. Kings trap game is strong, and it was a struggle at times.

I guess my hope is that the Jets are good enough to win the key games against San Jose (X2), Calgary and Nashville, and that's maybe enough points to make the playoffs. 8th seed would have been where I predicted the Jets finished at the start of the year, and while they got our hopes up, maybe that's really where this team is at, in terms of talent.

Just make the playoffs and it's a new season...

I watched just for a bit on the US feed and saw that puck tracking stuff for the first time properly during a game - not sure if you guys have seen it but it almost makes powerplays unwatchable IMO (aside from our play which has a similar effect)

It's brutal
