No, but you must. Wanna put your money where your mouth is?So what your saying is, that Kopitar will end up with 37 goals and 35 assists???
Sweet....
I seem to recall Ray Bourque being a bit on the pudgy side as well.

Hey, you were the one that said Kopitar was like Sundin.....I was just clarifying
I've said in the past that Kopitar should age/play like Sundin in his 30s, and K17 and I slapfight over it. That one was clearly at me.

I never ditched it. I said he had a great season last year and gave him credit for playing well. I have always said Kopitar's contract is a disaster based on the state of the roster when it was given and his age at the time it was given. I have always said his production will decline as he ages.Yeah, both guys are very unassuming looking. Bourque was built like a brick ****house though. Neither guy really looks like "supreme physical athlete" yet there they go!
One thing I hate about this forum.
Took you a full 82 games PLUS to ditch your Kopitar vendetta.
Took 14 to resurrect it in short order.
I think this year will end up more like his 64 point season, which means he scores at his regular-or-better pace throughout 2/3 of the season, but after a slow start, so it looks worse than it is.

I don't have a vendetta against Kopitar. It was a stupid move by Kings management.
When Kopitar pads his stats in meaningless games over the last half of the season, I am sure everyone will be back to thinking it was a great deal.
Kopitar seems to disappear every other year. One of these years he probably won't reappear. Sundin was very consistent from season to season. The same cannot be said for Kopitar over the last several years.
I'm thinking we have heard this before only to find out Kopitar's health was just fine.I'm thinking he HAS to be hurt.
Again, it's not a vendetta against Kopitar. If he gets up to around 65 points by the end of the season, in what will be meaningless games, there will be posters here who use that point total to vindicate Kings management and their decision to sign that deal. You say that, then you use rhetoric dripping with venom, like "When Kopitar pads his stats in meaningless games over the last half of the season" as if that's ever a worry, and assuming the worst every time.
We need someone to make a giant Kings jersey with "Hughes" on the back of it and slip it on the Robitaille statue.I want to also join the #confuse4hughes movement.
Within weeks, we can have a stand inside and outside Staples Center. The hashtag is confusing, even if you know who Hughes is and the premise of it, is for
your team to lose, win the lottery and draft Hughes. Even if you are the 4% of typical hockey fans that know that, it is still confusing. Confuse 4 Hughes?
What IS the confusion? So vague, I think if you were even fully versed in the tank process, each person would have a different answer what the confusion element
is...It's part of it's beauty and confusing.
So, the movement needs reps and tables set up inside and outside Staples before and during games. Reps wear the shirt #confuse4hughes and wear King caps, that have the LA
logo upside down. This is the 'LA Tank Logo' . Fake Security may be needed, around tables, as casual King fans may think these are King haters with some
hater agenda. Even if you were to explain to them who Jack Hughes was and the way to build a perennial contender, was through multiple top 5 draft picks,
that would take 4 minutes and they would still not understand...or care. Many attendees cannot name
5 Kings (or say my favorite King is Marty McSorely!) and there for a live event experience...and see how many celebrities they can spot.
An info card explains it all. #confuse4hughes shirts and caps are sold...and even henna tats can be administered at the outside booth. It actually may be difficult
to get the table inside Staples...unless the people that work with vendors are CONFUSED (or a secret #confuse4hughes movement fan) and give approval.
Getting a table at events like Tip a King may be more difficult though.
I'm thinking we have heard this before only to find out Kopitar's health was just fine.
Radko Gudas has 5 points in 15 games. That eclipses the combined totals of Tanner Pearson, who is earning $3.75M per season until 2021, and Adrian Kempe, who will be due for a new contract this summer. I wonder if he expects to receive a raise? Maybe he should receive a similar salary as the peanut vendor.
