Kakko might and probably will get fewer minutes, but those minutes could prove more fruitful playing with Laf and Chytil, instead of floating around wondering what Panarin is gonna do next with the puck and even deferring to him. If Kakko doesn't get to hold onto the puck, which he wouldn't with Panarin, then he's not effective. Kakko had the puck attacking the zone last night and guess what, he lateraled it to Panarin at the blue line.

This is NOT a hard team to play against. Nothing at all to do with fighting.
We hit, but we are not a stiff team.
We prefer the perimeter as opposed to the slot, the only guy (Trochek) that has (had) a nose for that area is being Panarin'd to the outside.

I for tell a lot of blocked cross ice passes and attempts to fancy foot it in the o-zone instead of dumping it with that Bread line. How many stick handling, between the leg drag attempts when entering the zone will happen?

If you're going to keep the kid line together, a trade for a RW is needed cause Vesey has no business on the 1st line. Too bad they couldn't resign Vatrano.
Personally, love these lines. Maybe I’d switch Blais for Vesey but otherwise, not much I’d change. The kid line always looks good together.

They drastically need an upgrade at RW. But I don't see how they can make the cap work, even for a few months after the deadline.
