What about the 54 years before that ? I’ve been around a long time watching hockey. I remember the Islanders a dominant team and Potvin being hated (and still hated) by Ranger fans.
Let’s just say we have had some bad times our teams to keep it even.

If it’s any consolation, I’ve been an Oiler secondary fan given the Rangers connection, West Coast game slot etc.

I always loved the skating in the Northlands. The team was always built for that ice.

What is happening with this guy?
While in St. L he wasnt a defensive stalwart or anything but he always looked pretty decent/above average in his own zone. From what ive been seeing posted other places he kind of took a nose dive this year. This just being overblown by over reactionary fans or something you guys are worried about?
