I wouldn't be shocked if we traded down a few spots, I really wouldn't be surprised either way up or down. This is the summer Kent makes the Habs relevant for a long time IMO!

I don't think Columbus will trade the pick for a player. They want a top center.
But of all the teams, I've heard they value Will Smith a lot. That could be hot air. But if they value Smith and Carlsson similarly, they may be willing to move down and still get one of them. They are certainly aggressively looking for assets to be better next year, in addition to trying to draft their number 1 center of the future.

Yeah, he doesn't but it is stupid to think that Michkov falling is the same situation as Caufield falling.
Caufield fell because of his size.
Michkov has the size issue against him, too.. in addition to all the other well documented stuff.
It's not the same situation so trying to say it is the same situation, it is not.
Completely irrelevant comparison. If Michkov falls it isn't because he is short. It is because of political uncertainty or uncertainty about whether he will come over even if he was allowed to.

How far will he fall though? Michkov is the 2nd best player in this draft. The team that gets him (especially if it is outside the top 10 will be laughing all the way).

Teams rarely trade down. Montreal will get some big offers, if Michkov still available. but they will pick at 5. I think it will be Leonard. If he is still there.
...he isn't falling out of the Top 10...I seriously doubt he gets to pick 6...
