If it makes you feel any better I couldn’t even say or write a sentence in German & I even have some German ancestry. My grandfather was an Irish/German-American that fought WW2 & did some translating as he could speak German.

If i would have understand back then that english would help me to communicate my whole life i would have done a lot more in school!
