At the price he signed for it’s a no brainer. No one is getting blocked, the simple fact is if a rookie is good enough he plays his way in, injuries happen and the worst thing coaches do is rush young defenceman before they are ready. If he isn’t he plays huge minutes in the AHL which benefits him in the long run. Been a fan of this team since the 80s and haven’t seen anyone blocked in years.

Everyone is saying Jets got better with Schmidt and Dillon. No ones raving that Samberg and Heinola got blocked. The fact is the Jetsdid get better with the moves.

No, that's not how it works here.

Also, Yandle doesn't make us better because Yandle is washed up. He needs to be heavily sheltered to not be a total liability.

We are a team. A Cevin Hayes team.

Ok i admit i was wrong. I thought Fletch will sign his buddies for life from Minnesota.

It has come way worse. He has signed f***ING YANDLE because he cant trust any rookie ever!!!

We´re more f***ed as i ever could have imagine!! and my imagination was rly rly bad before!!!!

“Change” “Fit” “Culture” “Off Ice”. I always love these descriptions as selling points when a bevy of moves are made.

Well, we're probably a better team right now.

Listen I don't like how Fletch has done all of this, but I think it's been positive so far. He's probably got 2 more moves he needs to make (backup G and 3C) and then we can probably make final judgment.

That's honestly very debateable. It'll be interesting.

Really hoping Vigneault serves up his signature brand of stink this season. This shit can’t last much longer

Ellis is about the only move I say we without a doubt improved with even if there is some risk there with him & his age/contract.

The rest are essentially meh or flat out horrible falling under that change for the sake of change umbrella.

I remember when this guy was a prized commodity....now he is just a commode.

Whatever....as long as he gets managed minutes and AV doesn't think he is Brian Leetch.
Yandle’s 103 games in New York, all under AV, he had o-zone start percentages that were both in the 70’s. In the playoffs it went up. He wasn’t under any false illusions about how to use him.
