Karlsson on the Lightning should scare you. I've never said "give them the cup" about a team before the season starts unironically, but barring injury or an absolute breakdown from their goalie, they will win the cup, guarantee.

Just the same, new ownership that cares about righting wrongs would build enthusiasm and the market could rebound very quickly with a proper rebuild. The returns on EK and Stone would be a start.

I really don't know if it can be fixed. Moving forward with LeBreton and a complete overhaul of the franchise would be the only way, but I don't think there are any local owners willing to do that.

Karlsson will fix the work ethic. He is a fantastic leader, and players love to play for him. Look at the way he took over games during the 2017 playoffs, how can you not give it your all for a guy who does that?

I find Tampa fans to be some of the more arrogant fans on here. I hated the Bruins but their comments during that series were pretty telling.
