I have no idea. Reimer seems the obvious one but it sounds like they really enjoy the 3 goalie situation. I’m not sure which forward goes. Everyone is contributing.whose getting waived for kane,?
We have a roster spot available. Right now we’re sitting at 12 forwards, 7 defenseman and 3 goalies which is 22 out of a possible 23 roster spotsI have no idea. Gah I thought so but the seed of doubt was plantedWhy would anyone get waived? They'll just run 13F, 7D, 3G.

After Berggren was sent down, they have 22-man roster.
So no one has to be waived for Kane. It already was Czarnik kind of...
Kane is already on the roster
well it looks like ken daniels gets his wish and kane obviously set it up for his first game back to be with the red wings broadcast and not national.I'm cool with Kane not going in until Thursday.
The Buffalo game is an important divisional game, the current lineup is on a roll, and there doesn't necessarily need to be the added hooplah of Kane's first game against his hometown team.
Thursday against the cellar-dwelling Sharks? Yeah, that's a game you can tweak a lineup for.
I was laughing because an hour ago I saw a topic on this subject made a few hours ago on that awful Red Wings subreddit and there are 100+ replies back and forth if it should be Kostin or Rasmussen and no one picking up on the fact that we have a spot open and no one needs to sit. After Berggren was sent down, they have 22-man roster.

Well... there was a roster spot, but someone will still need to sit out from the lineup. Be it Fischer, Kostin, Ras, whoever.I was laughing because an hour ago I saw a topic on this subject made a few hours ago on that awful Red Wings subreddit and there are 100+ replies back and forth if it should be Kostin or Rasmussen and no one picking up on the fact that we have a spot open and no one needs to sit.
Raz is a center so more than likely Kostin or Fischer, with Sprong playing on the 4th line. Not a big deal which one sits, really.Well... there was a roster spot, but someone will still need to sit out from the lineup. Be it Fischer, Kostin, Ras, whoever.
I don't think we'd have to waive Reimer, I think there would be a market for him. He's played well this year, but unfortunately for him, Lyon has been better. If we don't have room for Reimer, I'm confident we'd get a mid-round pick for him.I have no idea. Reimer seems the obvious one but it sounds like they really enjoy the 3 goalie situation. The one thing that Kane has going for him is that he's the lightest NHL player to have the procedure. Less stress on the joint, hopefully.Chiclets had a rundown of athletes that had the same resurfacing procedure as Kane. Not a good track record with hockey players but Andy Murray and Undertaker are among the successes.
That and improvements in the procedure itself. The one thing that Kane has going for him is that he's the lightest NHL player to have the procedure. Less stress on the joint, hopefully.
Well that's a good sign for Kane considering he went to the same doctor for this procedure as Murray and the Undertaker. The other guys who didn't have as successful outcomes went to different doctors for their procedures, from what I understand.Chiclets had a rundown of athletes that had the same resurfacing procedure as Kane. Not a good track record with hockey players but Andy Murray and Undertaker are among the successes.
Yeah, I agree there. Mentioned it before. Another thing he has going is that he hasn't had hip issues over a long period of time. Backstrom's has had them for a good while, having his first surgery in 2015, if I recall correct. The one thing that Kane has going for him is that he's the lightest NHL player to have the procedure.
