Sir Bob already said in his latest rankings they were close, with Hughes having the edge,we all know when it's close C gets the edge, but somehow with Kakkos playoff dominance+ WC the advantage for Hughes has only grown.

All things considered I don’t think this is a draft that has a per say separation BPA.

If it’s between Hughes/Kakko definitely Kakko though. I don’t know if there’s something I’m missing about Hughes . It’s a very heavy consensus he’s ranked 1st but I for the life of me cannot see why and see way too many red flags.

Devils should take Kakko for the same reason the Rangers should be the ones with Hughes.

They fit each of those respective teams' systems better.

Personally if I was favoured to be a top pick I wouldn't care about going first overall, I'd care about being taken by the team that's the best fit.

100% agree with your assessment of Hughes. I see the skill and the potential. But for some reason I get RNH vibes from him - I just don’t know if he’ll live up to expectations.
