The guy needs to gain muscle and weight big time. Get him on a weight training asap.

Saw a picture of him with our recent draftees in the dev camp and god he looks smaller than most. Skinny and lean. That’s a bad thing for a guy that relies on physical play as a big part of his game. No wonder he gets injured often.

No excuse - he eats all the good stuff all the supplements all the excercise machines
Put some weight and muscle on !!!
Or you will be injured like last season

Agreed that his style of play does not match his physique. Hopefully he can bulk up.

Kaiden Guhle is such a stud, the only concern with him it's his injuries. But I'm confident that he will have a long career even with some injuries (part of his physical style)... he is going to be 100% ready next year.

Yeah I remember we talked about this more than once over the past season. He may be one of those guys that takes a few years to reach his prime physical form. If anything I would suggest a change of style would be more beneficial for him long term. His best play for me was always about breaking up plays and moving pucks the other way. He needs to be tough to play against as opposed to being tough. That is and should be his game.

Kaiden Guhle is such a stud. Can't wait to see his progress next year. I think he will surprise a lot of people with his offensive game.
I completely agree. I think he’s our best shot at a #1 D personally. As long as MSL gives him time on the PP over Matheson so Guhle can show us what he’s got.

I agree I believe Ghule has better pure instinct than Matheson MSL's game design is tailored to guys who can play without thinking. I do like a lot of what Matheson brings but I find he holds on to the puck too long and often misses the easiest play to keep the puck moving. A guy who doesn't "instinctively" make plays as they open up but makes plays once they've opened up. Giving talented guys like Suzuki Caufield and Dach that extra space is HUGE in the NHL. Many of our forwards suffer from the same fault. I'm hoping Newhook isn't going to be one of them.

I think he’s somewhat underrated. I think he’s gonna be a star. Hopefully the injuries aren’t a thing but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a perennial Norris candidate when all is said and done.
