so we shouldn't post any hockey related news, if it's posted as a 'rumour'? I mean I clearly said its a rumour. Do we stop posting trade rumours as well?

Yeah there are too many Habs bloggers to keep track of who is reliable and who is not.

Rumours that aren't even from a tertiary source aren't really news.

And you can do whatever you want, but I'd suggest not reading so much into lazy gossip. Or do, I enjoy people taking hilariously bad rumours and putting way too much into them.

Which makes him injury prone.

Unless you believe he's always unlucky, then I don't know what to tell you really.
Wouldn't the opposite be true?

If a player was injuring the same body part (I.E. Shoulder) that likely means there's a weakness, which means it would be prone to being reinjured, thus being injury-prone.

Maybe, an underlying factor connects these injuries, but to me, it seems more likely to be a case of bad luck. However, I'm not a doctor nor a physiotherapist, so I'm not qualified to make an educated decision. Are you?

No, injury prone means the player in general will miss games on a regular basis during the season. It doesn't matter if it's the same body part or a different one.
When you are made of glass, it's all body parts that are easily injurable.

So by that definition, many players in the league are "injury-prone", so it seems weird to be hung up on specifically labelling a player then. A large portion of players regularly don't play 82 games.

RDS showed his last shift and he took what looked like some innocuous contact along the boards in the Ozone. He must have jammed something.

As long as he plays 70+ games regularly, he's good.
Anything less than 70 games regularly, I start to label injury prone. Maybe I have standards but to me, availability is the best skill a player can have.

Very highly linked to IQ.

But there is also a lot of genetics involved in muscle resistance to damage, and some people just break with very little pressure. I know why my muscles are not the best, Accutane was a real disaster for me - there's plenty of others medication with similar effects.

I guess it’s good to understand that you are literally making up your own standards, likely without any medical knowledge.
