And no, I’m not always happy with his decisions myself…

But while we’re “not pretending” he gets praised for stellar decision making… he’s just a multi-season Jack Adam’s finalist and you’re just “stat boy”.

Apparently? Your argument is that it’s only to criticize, as if you can’t discuss hockey in any other manner. Apparently we’re also “pretending” every coach gets nominated for multiple Jack Adams by accident. Like Petr Mrazek just accidentally getting multiple Vezina nominations. Definitely.

My argument clearly states I don’t always agree with coaches. The fact remains, we don’t know why Kakko is scratched. It’s entirely possible the coaching staff has repeatedly shown him tape and asked him to do something that he cannot/will not do. People are acting like we’re scratching a 70 point player because of where he was drafted. If he was the 90th overall pick no one would give a shit and people would firmly believe this is a furure third liner.

I qualified my own feelings about NHL coaches and GMs a half dozen times in my post. I just don’t have the arrogance to believe I *definitely* know better because people like shit I post online, even though I *feel* like I know better.

I’m in the camp that Kakko should be playing. I’m also aware that, passionate though I am, I actually don’t know shit.

I don’t agree at all. it made zero sense in so many ways. you can’t say rooney or hunt are better. the kid line was by far our best line for most of the playoffs. and strome couldn’t even finish the f***ing game. it made zero sense, it was stupid, and I hope it gets gallant fired. because if I’m kakko, I wouldn’t blame him for one second for wanting to leave the organization. it’s inexcusible.

To not give yourself a chance to go back to to your best 5v5 line in the playoffs in an elimination game is absurd.

Better be something egregious that caused the scratch.
