Its pretty crazy yeah.

But if you were to draw up a scenario where these two kids were a part of a championship caliber team at the ages they are, they would be right there on the third line.

Kakko def needs to be on the second unit.

PP1
Mika Strome Kreids
Panarin Fox

PP2
Laf Copp Kakko
Trouba Miller

Maybe you could put Laf at the point instead of Miller and keep Goodrow in front. Geeze, even Chytil & Vatrano could use some PP time.
Not gonna happen, but I swap Lafreniere and strome on PP1

When Gallant responded to Mollie Walker with "the next two games" did he include last night's game? I know that a 1-game difference is not a huge deal, but it still is -- eager to see him, even back in practice.

No, think he meant after yesterday’s game.

He’s expected back next week. Really really excited to see him play. As much as Laf and Chytil have improved, I really think Kakko will evolve into our best two way player other than Zibanejad in a year or two if he can finally stay healthy.

Really hope he comes back in shape. When he’s on, he’s sort of my favorite player, so I’m fanboying a little at the thought of his return.

I would ease him in on a line with Laf and Chytil.

That puts Goodrow on a very strong 4th with Motte and Rooney and pushes Hunt/Reaves as extras. Also goodbye to McKegg

I'd like to see him back with the Wonder Twins where he was playing some great hockey.

That or put him with one of Copp/Goodrow and Laf.

I think Copp and Strome are going to stick on that second line. I think Kakko is stuck on the third line unless they slot Vatrano down

I think copp slides down to 3. That line of Laf-Chytil - copp was really good the only night they got to play together.

Don't forget he is a diabetic and has Celiac disease .He probably is pretty picky on the diet.
The first time I ever heard of Celiac's disease was in college and my friend's roommate told me he had it. I thought he said he had "silly ecstasies" and I was like ok cool man whatever floats your boat, weirdo

Had the game against the Sens circled for a while as the Kakko return game. If it isnt tonight I doubt they would throw him into such an important game against the Pens

I don't think we see him for another week. He's been out 2.5 months and he will need a few practices. With Strome back they can roll 3 lines without any 4th liners in the top 9. It's frustrating but there is no need to rush him back. We are finishing 2nd or 3rd in the division and right now it's all about the playoffs. He should have a couple weeks of games to shake the rust off.
