I've seen a number of Stone Cold Steve Austin movies and that gif is a perfect encapsulation of his entire acting range

I'm worried it's myocarditis/pericarditis after a booster shot. From warmups to week - to - week to operation? And no further word? Evil.
This is my fear. Bloodclots or heart issues

Would be devastating. Hoping it's just a bum shoulder

We went from 'he skated in warmups and couldn't go'... to day to day... week to week... month to month... '

We dont have any confirmation on "operation" I think someone was joking and it got taken way too far.

I’m not going to get into any specific speculation, but I think Kakko’s general health issues are an underrated aspect of the conversation surrounding him. We know for a fact that he’s a Type 1 diabetic and has celiac disease. We’ve underplayed the potential impact of these conditions since day one, and many have taken comfort in the notion that Kakko will be a more impactful player than Hughes because he’s “big and strong”.

What if he’s, um, not?

The lack of any information regarding this injury is absolutely concerning. I honestly envy the faith and optimism many of you seem to have no problem mustering.

He’s missed a lot of games now, it’s getting a bit strange we have no information about his injury or any timeline for return.

whatever his situation is, hopefully he returns soon.
But if it is serious, and he’s got a shot of missing a lot more time, it’s certainly going to affect any potential trade/trades we make if he’s out a lot longer.
However, it is Odd we haven’t got any updates/details imo

He played with a bum shoulder (after the Romanov hit) for a couple of months, I think that is known. Whether that's his issue now, we don't know but we shouldn't speculate.

We have no information because when he does come back, the team doesn't want the injury targeted.

Man, I come here, I’m seeing COVID politics being discussed. Go to the Kravtsov thread, Ukraine-Russia politics. Time to shut her down on here until we are in the clear. Just want hockey.

In the Kravtsov thread, the discussion of Russian invasion of a sovereign country is warranted. All of these countries have come together to punish Russia with harsh economic sanctions. It looks like more sanctions will be coming the longer this situation continues. Will the KHL be able to begin and complete their playoff tournament? Will the players get paid? It was always suspicious how the KHL cancelled the regular season weeks ago and were going straight to playoffs on March 3. Everyone knew Putin was planning to invade the Ukraine after the Olympics were over. NATO wasn't negotiating with him. He didn't want to piss off the Chinese government who were hosting the Olympics by doing it before or during the Olympics. It was now or never because the ground is still cold enough for the military to invade with their tanks. The weather will start to turn warmer in the next few weeks. Those KHL owners are tied to Putin. They knew the deal. The Ukraines will bend over and the entire thing will be wrapped up before March 3. Putin installs his puppet government and everything will be over. Fortunately, that has not been the case. More military assistance is being sent to the Ukraine. For all we know, the military equipment has located been in the region waiting for it to be officially authorized.

The Rangers happen to have a knucklehead named Kravtsov playing in the KHL. Is he playing again this season? This guy went AWOL to play less than 20 games in the KHL.

I thought someone in this thread said it was a shoulder surgery a couple days before the team came out with the injury news, but I can't find the post anymore #Kakkogate

The shoulder surgery post was posted on this forum and the next day/late afternoon the Rangers announced Kakko would be out for at least one month.
