Dolan sucks!!!
Alain Nasereddine could be the coach who discussed Kakko with Gallant. Nasreddine was a long-time Devils assistant coach. Nasreddine would be familiar with Kakko.
Very sad. As they say, It takes an Angel to make an Angel. You know how children emulate adults by watching and studying?
Adults who play clean have children who play clean.
"Who taught you how to play this way?"
"You, alright! I learned it by watching you!"
May I point out that there is no point counting points at this point.Still just 3 points in 11 games.
I like to call it default setting.People need to remember.
The person of perfectly average intelligence is a f***ing moron.
Half the world is far dumber than your normal f***ing moron, unfortunately.
I am as cynical as the next guy, but I don’t think this is fair.I like to call it default setting.
We're born as dumb and useless aa possible and a lot of people don't grow much past that
He’s also been healthy scratched in the playoffs 100% more times than Hossa. He's played about double the amount of PO games Hossa had played at the same age too.

Glad to see the kid making big strides. I’m hoping for a statement streak from him where he puts up 9 points in 10 games or similar and puts himself on the map.
I’d pump the brakes on the “5 or 6 players in a generation that can physically do what Kakko will be able to do,” and “immovable force” talk. I’m excited about his growth, but we should stay grounded. Let’s see him stay in the top 6 all year and put up 50 points first.Kakko is out there swatting away veteran all star NHL defensemen like their gnats and he’s only 21 and people aren’t seemingly able to imagine what 24-28 year old fully developed Kakko might look like. It’s crazy to me. There are like 5 or 6 players a generation that can physically do what Kakko will be able to do in 3-4 years. It doesn’t even matter if he puts up 80–100 points. It matters that he’ll be the immovable force in the playoffs that will own the offensive zone from the circles in.
Too many of you act like landscapers who compare the growth of real plants to your chia pet.
Good things take time.
1. It was obviously a joke.Oh, the team totally looked great in that one game he was scratched. It was clearly the right choice and we benefited greatly.
It's more a darkly cynical joke that's uncomfortably close to true for way too many people.I am as cynical as the next guy, but I don’t think this is fair.
1. It was obviously a joke.
2. He was the weakest player on his 3rd line at the time. It wasn’t going to make a difference in the game one way or another.
I’ll disagree that he was the weaker part of that line. His defensive play was setting up Laf and Chytil, he wasn’t getting a ton of points but he was forcing the turnovers and cycling in that playoff run.1. It was obviously a joke.

When they broke the kids because strome was hurt, he looked ineffective but that was again a confidence thing.
Lak-Mika-Kakko is the clear answer. We all knew Strome and Panarin together was a problem. Early in this season it is clear we were right. We all know Mika and Kreider isn't the best for the team in the short OR long term. We will eventually be proven right again. And honestly, moving Laf around in the top six after breaking up the kid line didn't look good.
I still think the move is getting Laf and Kak on a line together, I think they play so damn well together.
The eventual move in my mind is short term Laf-Mika-kakkoAnd honestly, moving Laf around in the top six after breaking up the kid line didn't look good.

Honestly, I don’t mind even if the points don’t come. This kid is helping us win games and playing great hockey. That’s all I care about. His ability to finish is the least important aspect of his game compared to his ability to cycle and possess the puck for long periods of time. He causes opposing teams to make mistakes in their own zone and opens up the game for Mika. He also draws penalties.Very frustrating that he's not getting rewarded for his great play.
Why is it clear Mika and Kreider together isn’t best for the team? They’ve put up their best career years together. They also roll on PP and PK together so line dispersement is easier. I’m not necessarily against trying different line combos, but I don’t understand why it’s clearly a bad thing.Lak-Mika-Kakko is the clear answer. Got some phantom assists today. Wasnt his best game but deserved considering how he got basically nothing the last few where he dominated
