I really can't believe they haven't gotten a game together yetHe and Howden don't really mesh well at all.
Give him and Kreider a go with Chytil and see where that gets you.

I doubt it takes long.Well, the letting him learn part is where the patience comes in
I don't disagree, but even a week would be too long for some people. And I get it, there's so much hype/excitement behind him and the team right nowI doubt it takes long.
Yeah Kaapo needs someone who can skate the puck through neutral zone. If his line gets stuck in the defensive zone he won't get much done. Maybe in some years he'll develop in that area but right now that's not what he does.He and Chytil will have better chemistry. Didn’t like the line with no one that can really bring the puck up the ice.
Kreider — Chytil — Kakko is going to be crazy good. To bad we haven’t seen it yet lool

Kappo Kaako doesn't always drink alcohol. But when he does, he prefers gasoline.

I didn't like how Howden looked at all between two skill-players. Don't wanna read much into one pre-season game, but that's what I got.
Easy there bud. There is demand on this market, but you're flooding it with too much supply.
Also you have potentially 20 years of Kakko to come up with these. Be more economic about it![]()
lol I just bring it as they pop into mind. Need to be thinking about other things then.
Kaapo Kakko = The new Chuck Norris
The Rangers, rather suddenly, have a lot more mouths to feed on the wings with the additions of Panarin and Kakko. The problem all season will be that they only have 1 dynamic center on the roster. I assume Kakko will be good enough to carry a line by himself in due time, but I don't expect it to be when he's 18 years old.
Agreed, and it’s kind of discouraging what Quinn is doing.. The kid is 18 years old, he needs to do a better job at having the lines build chemistry instead of flip, flopping everyone. Kaapo looks great in his first game. Then he plays him with Kravstov a 19 year old, who obviously just like Kaapo never played in the NHL, and Howden? Like come on it’s not rocket science.. Then he has Strome center him?Yeah Kaapo needs someone who can skate the puck through neutral zone. If his line gets stuck in the defensive zone he won't get much done. Two teenager rookies on the same line is a no no anyways.
I think that he understands that pretty well and is trying to put the young kids into a position of success. That includes finding out where they belong in an NHL line up.Quinn needs to understand that this team isn’t expecting to contend, and they’re crazy young that these players will struggle. So let Chytil go through growing pains to learn the center position because once he’s capable of doing so, Chytil-Kakko will be a great for 8+ years.

It's only a matter of time till McJesus asks out of the Oil Fire. And guess who has the dearth of prospects to ante up?
(Then I woke up.)
First of all, even if he asks out, the Oilers are not in any need to oblige him. It's only a matter of time till McJesus asks out of the Oil Fire. And guess who has the dearth of prospects to ante up?

Zbad is probably on that list instead of a few firsts. This is a generational talent we're talking about here....First of all, even if he asks out, the Oilers are not in any need to oblige him.
Second of all, even if they do, it would take a king's ransom to get him. The list STARTS with Kakko, then just keep on adding high level prospects and multiple 1st round picks. How does Kakko, Miller, Kravstov, Buch and a few first round picks sound?
Third of all, cap space....cap space.....cap space
Fourth of all, dearth means a inadequate supply or scarcity. I presume you mean the opposite.

Jimmy Carson was legit back then, he scored 100 points in each of his first couple yearsFor McDavid, I'm offering, Jimmy Carson, Martin Gelinas, $15 million in cash, and our first-round draft picks in 1989, 1991 and 1993.
