I think it will be an awesome position to be Kakko and Kravtsov. You play well, you get to play with Panarin and Zibanejad. Hopefully those kids embrace this "race".
Everybody lives in Washington Heights when they first start out, before they end up somewhere on Park Ave., UES, or UWS.
Being an irresponsible millennial, I did the reverse.
Generation K signed and sealed. These two kids Kakko and Kravtsov are going to be stars in this league. It’s never happened in my lifetime having two stud forward prospects like this coming in at 18 19 years old can’t wait for this next run here
never use that again...thats just evil
It's still difficult to believe that we were finally in position to draft a talent like this.
CapFriendly listed Kaapo Kakko jersey #45
Is that a placeholder? Or will that number stick?
Kaapo Kakko - CapFriendly - NHL Salary Caps
So the Rangers can exceed the cap due to performance bonuses by 7.5% of the upper limit ($6,112,500). For any of the bonuses that are hit and exceed the cap, would that money count towards the following season's cap?
It's been so long since we've had this issue I don't even remember how it goes.
Whatm has it been that long since Shanahan's $2M 10 GP bonus? So the Rangers can exceed the cap due to performance bonuses by 7.5% of the upper limit ($6,112,500). For any of the bonuses that are hit and exceed the cap, would that money count towards the following season's cap?

Have you hiked up to the cave yet?I live in Inwood, and I freaking love it up there. Have a few ranger fans on my block !

I’m assuming it means he won’t count against the 50 if he doesn’t play in the NHL. As we learned with Duclair, it’s possible to be exempt from the 50 if you don’t play in the NHL even if you’re not eligible for a slide, so that’s likely why there’s two different icons.capfriendly has updated his contract info and now when you look at the rangers page, kakko is marked with the expected icons for ELC, slide eligible, performance bonuses and waiver exempt...but there is one i've never seen been "Player is exempt from the 50 stanard player limit" ?? anyone know what thats about?
ok i'm assuming its cause its slide eligible so it doesn't count until he plays 11 games...but never seen that icon before

LOL I swear to God man that is the absolute worst number possible. Just look at the last few Ranger to wear it. They knew.
wow, those bonuses seem fair. I just have no clue where we are getting all this cap space from. Especially if Kravtsov signs a similar deal.
