Yup, there it is, you’re right. What’s going on here?
1. He is Finnish. Being outgoung is not normal here.
2. He's still learning the language, and obviously not too comfortable with the small talk with everyone
3. He wasn't that much of a vocal person in the locker room of TPS according to his teammates. Confident on his ability, yes. But not too outgoing. Not like Laine.

A lot of Finnish people I know are introverts. I think Kakko just needs some time to get used to the life in NY

Thanks for the info. Just want this kid to be pumped up to be here and excited to make NY his new home.

Well I meant relative to NYC

i know it’s not like a village or some ****
I don't think it has that much to do with New York. It's just that he has been the youngest guy in the locker room for the last year in pretty much every team he was. In the Liiga with TPS, then in the U20s being one of the youngest, and then in the national team. He's not immediatly going to take up a role after that. And maybe he never will. I don't see how this matters, unless some of you were dreaming of Kakko being a future captain. I don't think he is that kind of player. After all, all that matters is how he plays, and it seems he has done well so far during the camp.
