I'll be damned if it wasn't staged somehow exaggerated making it look more foolish than it really was. Still I've kind of always lived under impression that the Americans aren't very highly educated about history & geography outside their own, meaning lands, states, civil wars and such. And of course every country wants their people to learn about their own history and roots the first and foremost, but geography is whole another story. You actually had to be able to pin point some countries on the map when I was still young if you didn't wanna bail a class of geography at the school bench and that was pretty early stages as well as far as I can remember.
Well this explains how'd it even be possible for NHL "pro" to consider Kakko a Swede I suppose. I hope no one goes and tells that to his face though, cause then he'd have every right to punch him where it came from.
