Seems most of you watched this game with your eyes closed. Slaf played very well tonight

He's played solid hockey in all but maybe one game. I can't understand what some fans are thinking. He's involved, engaged, making plays, skating hard and has been an asset defensively. The offense will come. But people have to whine.

Didn’t get to watch the game tonight but boy are the reviews ever mixed on Slafkovsky right now. Lol it’s like people are evaluating two different players.
Here’s my opinion: he doesn’t look out of place but he’s also not producing points. I’d rather he be dominating and getting some scoring under his belt.

I’d send him down to play with Roy. Not because I don’t think he can hack it but because I think it’s be better for him. More ice, more opportunity, more points…

I don't get why people want to send to the AHL... we should do all we can to keep him away from Houle.

He is making mistakes. So what. He is also getting stronger and better at a lot of aspects of the game on a nightly basis. He's starting to come into his own, is developing an edge, hitting and doing things power forwards do. Makes great passes, and is progressing. Sure, he isn't destroying the league and hasn't scored in a long time, but he IS growing as a player, so lets not worry too much!

His off puck play is a little better than last year, which is something but he does not look like an NHL player right now. Maybe he will someday, but not like this.

Points aren't everything but not a single shot on goal in 7 games is putrid, he's not showing a single thing offensively right now. He's nice on the puck but it's useless when all he can do with it is dump because he has zero offensive instincts. He's also getting rocked in advanced stats without Dach to carry him.

I'm not even sure if he's good enough for the AHL right now but they can't keep throwing him out there like this.

If we want a guy who can't generate any offense on his own but can hit a lot, Pezzetta offers more at this point.

Hes not doing mistakes, hes so far behind the play that he cant even make them lol.

KK is 23. Slafkovsky is 19. At 23 for Slafkovsky, we can talk about this again...

I mean,

At the same age, I have way more concerns regarding Slafkowsky than I ever did with KK.

Don't forget, we did not want to trade KK. It was nice having that big young C, our core was nicely set. This was Bergy's fault, period.

Don't act like all Habs fans are KK haters by default.
